Thank you Winter Storm!
The long touring and the promotion for the debut album are over. Has been amazing to sing for you all. Magnificent tours, beautiful places, caring and helpful people, great opportunities, many memories.
I will never ever forget this excellent beginning for my solo career. I am so happy to realize my dreams.
Let me go back and tell you about the last days of the final tour.
Like one year ago, my show in Sofia was a great success. It is very hard for me still to understand how on earth it is possible to have such an amazing audience in Bulgaria! The venue was once again totally crowded with singing and cheering people. All having big smiles on their faces during the whole concert. The band was SO happy and oh gosh, it was a thrill. One of the best audiences in the world, for sure 
How funny it was to travel from summer and being in the beach, to fall and few hours later to have already snow all over the place…
The summer was definitely left behind and cold weather waited for us when we arrived to Ljubljana, Slovenia. Local people told us though that only few days earlier it was still enough warm to swim in the ocean…it was VERY hard to believe that. It was damn cold.
I didn’t remember the venue until I went there and saw that it was going to be an open-air concert….with only few degrees above 0°!!!!!
Everybody in the band needed to prepare himself well for the cold air, but who was freezing the most, was Mike. Having shorts on…his hands got so frozen that he needed to have a blow dryer to warm them while he was playing! Can you imagine that? A blow dryer? Poor Mike.
I was having fun though, despite of the cold air. People seemed to be totally frozen as well, even though I tried my best to make them move.
Anyway, it was a nice return to Slovenia. I honestly didn’t remember how beautiful the city of Ljubljana really is.
Czech audience has always accepted me well. This time was no difference. It was just a dream come true again. The venue was packed and we had a lot of fun performing.
For my surprise I received a gold award from the sales of My Winter Storm in Czech Republic and it was given to me during my show. It was very touching moment. I am truly proud and happy with my relation with Czech people. Thank you very much for the support.
I got a chance to visit famous Bruges on the day of the show in Metal Female Voices Festival in Belgium. I took a train from Aalst to Bruges and enjoyed the day drinking hot chocolate and taking wonderful pictures. The city of Bruges is unreal, with its old houses and colourful little boutiques. I enjoyed the visit very much.
I am always happy to return to MFV festival. There are many lovely people around. I got an honour to perform with lady Doro Pesch two songs and we did well together. This time it was a bigger pleasure, since we had performed those songs already once before long ago, it was easier to enjoy the music now. People received us very well. Once again I got totally surprised by the new MFV award that I was given during my set. Fans had voted me in a category of “the best and the most beautiful voice”. I was so overwhelmed by this, that I forgot completely the lyrics for the next song I needed to sing…hehe.
I want to thank everybody at the festival for this honour, for the love and support.
The last show for the tour was in London. Everybody in the band was excited about this particular show.
Feelings were mixed, with lots of happiness but sadness as well. I saw that people in the band were very quiet before the last show and it showed me that we had done well.
The show was amazing ending for the tour. Oliver had his birthday again and received a cake from us. I guess it was a tasty one, since I saw only bits and pieces of it after the show…
We had to share some tears when everything was finally over. I was very, very happy, but on the other hand very sad, since I am really going to miss all this. I am missing my band already! Sounds silly, but it’s all true.
Touring with My Winter Storm was just amazing, beautiful experience for me. I have been blessed with lovely people working with me. THANK YOU MIKE, MAX, ALEX, CHRISTIAN, OLIVER, DOUG, MARIA, KIKO, MARKUS and TONI and for making my dream come true. Not forgetting all the crewmembers that were helping and working very hard for us on our journey. Just know, you are all in my heart.

This chapter is ending now, but a new one is to start very soon. You’ll see me performing already on next week in a Halloween concert in Tampere, Finland.

Hey, Tarja! I’m so happy that you decided to come to Bulgaria once again! The concert was unbelievable, even better than the previous one. It’s great to know that you loved the audience as much as we loved you and I really hope you’ll visit us again during the next tour.

I hope you enjoyed our crazy ideas (flying plush pink “teddy bears”, “snowing roses”, etc.). Zlín, Praha, Ostrava, Mala Skala, Pardubice, that’s the most beautiful things you could give to us … you give us during the tour a lot of love, great experiences, new friends, etc. THANK YOU! Well, I just got up after getting back home last night with blistered feet and tired eyes… Today is kind of sad because everything is suddenly all over.
Belgium and London were completely amazing for me. The awesome gigs, seeing you again, hanging out with the other guys from the forum… I am not sure I have ever had a better weekend.
So thank you for all that, my love. I hope you get back to Finland safely and do manage to stop by those shoe shops. 
By the way! I figured out your evil Finnish message.
God, I laughed sooo hard. You crazy girl. I’m really going to miss you. Get your skinny ass back here as soon as the next tour starts, OK?

Jedes mal wenn man dich nur sieht,dann geht einem wirklich das Herz auf und umso trauriger bin ich,dass die Tour vorbei ist….Man könnte sagen,dass mir wirklich zum heulen zumute ist…….
Aber umso mehr freue mich mich daher,dich so schnell wie möglich wieder zu sehen….

ahhh poor Mike, I hope his hands are fine, he did a great job everybody loved him. I’m glad you didn’t catch a cold without your heater on the stage. It was sooooo nice seeing you on the streets of Ljubljana, thanks for a lovely chat, hug and smiles. It is true that the cold came just a few days before…I mean the coast wasn’t crowded but people still could swimm in the sea and less then a week before I was walking around in short sleves. Oliver told me you talked about me to the band :red: I’m glad you liked my gifts and hope you can come back on the next tour. Your band is really awesome! not only that they are amazing musicans, they’re all really wonderful people! I’m privileged to have met them. I can imagine you miss them already.

Dear Tarja,
First of all I would like to thank you for coming with your concert to London on Monday! It was a big honour for me to be there (no joking!) I saw your performance live for the first time, so for me it was an incredibly special day to which I looked forward a long, long time! (and actually, what could be better than starting a week this way!)
I was completely blown away the moment you appeared on the stage, Tarja, your positive energy instantly washed over me and from that very moment till the rest of the concert I truly had the time of my life with you, our Angel!!! You looked ever so happy during the gig, and it made me as twice happy to know that you were enjoying yourself just like us.
I loved every second of the show, but let me tell you about a few special moments. It was a great idea to mix songs into one beautiful lyrical piece, Tarja. It sounded really great!!! Also I was so happy to hear “Tired of being alone” live, the sound was brilliant giving this song a chance to sound in its full beauty. The drum solo was just WOW (in fact, all you band was amazing!), and your performance of “If you believe” was so sweet! I hope you will keep it up with accompanying yourself on piano during your gigs.
During “Minor heaven” I was close to tears (yes, yes, you nearly made me crying
) as it’s one of my favourite songs of yours, Tarja and you sang it so sincerely, it really moved me. And when you sang “Sing for me” it was magical feeling being able for once actually sing for YOU!
On the next day after the show I was constantly smiling to myself recalling the event of previous day. My fiance was amazed to see me SO happy after the concert, (he was on your concert with me and loved it too) as no concert had ever had such impact on me before. By the way, he said that he can’t remember when the last time he was on a concert, where the audience was screaming so loudly to thank the artist! One thing is more than certain for me now, is that you’re brilliant not only in singing, Tarja, but also in making people endlessly happy!!!
Now I know why people call you Angel – because you truly are the ONE!
Thank you again for the warmth you bring into our hearts, dear Tarja, and for your hard work to deliver the best quality of performance for us! And also a huge thank you for sharing your feelings with us in this blog. We really appreciate it!

So sad that the tour is over now =’(, but all good things must come to an end right?
Its really cool you describe all the places and concerts to us, so we get a bit of the feeling =).
Of course the show on MFVF was amazing!!!
And the performances with Doro were like a dream, I love her and I love you but together its like…perfection.
It kinda sucked that it was so late since it was on a Sunday, but also better cause your music just sounds better at night for some reason ;p.
It cost me a day sleeping in school and detention for that XD, but it was worth it.
Funny you were in Brugge (Bruges) that day, so were my parents…;p.
I really can’t wait for the new album and the new tour of course ^^, please come to Holland too!!!(or Germany, something close at least)
I am so curious to hear the new songs on Halloween, those titles sound very promising =).
You are such an amazing person for making so many dreams come true, thank you for excisting!!!

) went to the Metal Female Voices Fest, I gave my presents that were for you, to Aline. Aline went to the VIP cruise so you must have received my present. But, since there were so many people, you did not open my gift (yet) 
It was a square dark wooden box, with a nice carving on top. In that box I’ve put several little gifts! I hope you liked it! It was wrapped in PURPLE wrapping paper with a purple/pink shiny rope.
I also wrote a letter to which I also gave to Aline to give you there.
Please If you haven’t opened it yet, please open it soon. It would mean everything to me….
Okay, that’s being said…. WOW your performance at the Metal Female Voices Fest was way more beautiful, amazing, phenomenal and fantastic then ever! Your voice seems to be more beautiful every time.
You looked so gorgeous -as always-! I had to leave in the middle for something different, so I missed one part of the show
But I went back when you started singing with Doro!
I am really looking forward to a new blogpost about the Halloween show and your new album! Please take all the time you need for the album, don’t rush it.. .but also do not take too much time since us fans are all sooooo curious!!!!

I don’t know where to start. There are so many things I want to tell You..
So…At first:Thank You so much for all your concerts in Czech rep. Unfortunately I was only in Prague, which was my first show of yours and it was great, and in Pardubice, which was like wow, I think I am dreaming..This is not happening,it is not posible..This last concert was the best of the best performances I have ever seen..Atmosphere was breathtaking ..
I really do not understand those dumbs who said you are a selfish person..In my opinion you are one of kindest and nicest people I have ever met..:)
As second I would say again thank you, now for your kindnes after the show in Pardubice..That crowd of people..We were afraid, You would be tired and You would left, but We were wrong..You were so friendly and outgoing, You got a signature to all of us, you took a photos with us, you were smiling to us all the time..It was incredible, alsome..Those were the best moments in my live and I am so thankful for them
Third: I would thank you for your special Finnish R..:);) You realized my ( and my friend ) dream to hear it from you out of the show and in Finnish ..

Now I know how it feels to get completely lost in music. Your voice seems like an experience out of this world…and so were your shows in Pardubice and Malá Skála – incredibly moving. Such beauty almost made me cry. You know how to touch your fans´ hearts and souls. I also appreciate your kindness after the concert. It was worth waiting:).

Congratulations on both awards.
It really is sad that My Winter Storm tour is over.. But thank you so much for the concerts in Budapest, Milan, Belgrade, Bucharest, Vaasa and London! They were all very great and it was so awesome to see you before and after the concerts. Every single concert was always better than the ones before, it was also amazing to meet so many people from the forum, and all the concerts were worth traveling so long for.
I will miss seeing you and the band until the next concerts, but I hope it won’t be long until I see you all again. Good luck with your next concerts and with What Lies Beneath. And thank you once again for the time we spent together during this tour.

. I was so happy that I saw you and your singing was outstanding. I listened a song of yours on your website. But I have to say that your other songs are verry beautifull live! I missed your last concert with nightwish in Belgium with illness. But now I saw you!
And let the band of nightwish say what they have to say… Remember that you are a beautifull person outside and inside and you have the best voice. It is sad to say but without you Nightwish sucks… The new singer is not half as good as you were with nightwish.
I am glad to see that your solo career is successful!
You always had a lovely en really beautifull voice. After year’s and year’s of depression you gave me for the first time in year’s joy. By your voice, your performance and that I saw you.

OMG! I’M GOING TO CRYYY!!!!!!!!!!
I really don’t want this winter storm era to finish… there are so many good memories…
I remember that when you came to my country to promote My Winter Storm for the first time, I was angry with my parents, so I didn’t wanted to ask them for money to attend the show. At the same time, I had no cash at all, so I was sad, because I thought that I wouldn’t be there singing along with you during the concert. But I realised that it was stupid to give up that easily, so I started to think about how to get money to buy the ticket. Then I noticed that I had a lot of old things that I don’t use anymore (3 old televisions, a broken video player, stuff like that). Those electronic elements had some internal parts, that I could seell to get the money, but first I had to dismantel them… and oh, you can trust me on this: I’m not good when it comes to mechanical work…
Anyways, I worked hard for weeks to get the elements that I needed until my hands litterally bleed at times… but it was all for a good cause… your show!! HaHa. Finally, and only one week before your concert in Obras, I get the money to buy the ticket, and it was all because of my personal effort!!! HaHaHa, that was the closer I’ve ever been to a real job or any kind of hard work (yes, I know, I’m a disaster… XD). So, as you can see, your first show in was special to me for many reasons: your amazing voice and talent, and the fact that I managed to attend to show without any help from my parents!! HaHaHaHaHa!!! fuck you mom, I get the money by myself!! (no, I’m kidding, now I’m ok with my parents).
But though I don’t want this winter era to be over, I’m excited to join you on this next adventure, and you can be sure that I’ll be there to help you to discover what lies beneath…

First of all, it’s once again very nice to get news from you. I’m so glad that you feel such beautiful things about the tour. But my dear, loving Tarja, I have to tell you something about your Turkey show… I’m very very very sorry, but I couldn’t make it there. Because I live in another city, not in Istanbul. And as it was Thursday night and I had a very important examination on Friday morning, I had to stay where I was:( Sorry, a million times, my angel! But my teachers are so cruel that although I begged them for the delay of the exam, they did not accept it:(( I’m very sorry that I was not able to see you live… And when I saw the videos of the Istanbul show on YouTube, I spent the whole weekend bursting into tears… But then, I read your interview with the Yuxexes magazine and I came back to life again:)) You said that you always see people from Turkey, commenting to your blogs:)) I was so glad to learn that you actually read these lines:)) That’s very genuine and lovely of a great artist like yourself:)) And again, on the web, I read the reviews of your concert, written by net-bloggers from Turkey. They wrote like this: “Our angel Tarja was very lovely during the show. She liked the audience very much and she always complimented to us. Before leaving the stage, she promised to come back with the new songs from her next album, in the next tour…” And I was extremely happy after I read these words:))) I hope the Halloween concert and the work about What Lies Beneath goes amazing!

You can’t believe my amazement when I read you just took the train from Aalst to Bruges! Any other day during that week I could have sat right next to you, listening to you on my mp3 player. I’m laughing at myself when I imagine my shock at finally recognising you..a nice daydream
But in the end I would probably have tried to convince you to visit Ghent instead – remember that for next time! 
Anyway, great that you got to see a piece of our tiny country and even greater that we got to enjoy a piece of your magnificence in Wieze. For me it was the first time I saw you live and I have to say I was utterly and totally blown away. I had high hopes of course, but you exceeded them all. The way you took me from roaring to wiping my tears away, in just a few minutes…
I have never seen such energy, melancholy and joy in one person in one evening. But most of all, I have never seen such love and dedication – for your music, your band and your fans. Your courage to follow your own path is inspiring and even if I never saw you again (which of course I hope won’t happen!) I will carry that passion with me forever and I really hope, with all my heart, that you may spread it wherever you go. I’m sure that we have only witnessed the beginning of who you are and who you will become.
So a deep breath for you as the Winter Storm dies down and for us…breathlessly waiting to see what lies beneath.

First of all: thank you for your shows! Poor Mike with his frozen hands.. I have to perform tonight with a blister on my hand, never even had one, I can do a week long walking trip on my all stars and get nothing at all (though it was kind of dumb to try, hehe) and now just some days before I get a blister on my hand because of playing drums :S ?!

I’ve heard from a friend, Karlablossom from the UK, that she had the time of her life during your concert in London.
She also had some kind of ‘lunch’ aboard a (little) boat on the Thames with you and other fans and she was absolutely happy, …..i’ll bet she still is…
But i am still wondering why many others still believe you are behaving like a diva!!!!
They never have met you so their believe is based on nothing because lies are nothing!!!
You are very close with your fans, that’s something really special because it shows that you really want a connection with us ….the Tarja Lunatics…haha.
Now the “Winter Storm” is over you can focus on the new album with the band.
I have a question,….naturally, will “What Lies Beneath” have a central theme?
For now, i wish you, your husband, the band and the crew all the best with the recording of the coming album.

Thanks to you Tarja, i will never forget that the happiest day of my ENTIRE life, was the first time i saw you on stage, that agoust 16th of 2008 in México City. That day i was so happy that i declare myself to the woman i loved, it was so, so amazing. But then i returned to see you again on may 16th 2009, and that time i saw your face so close… i never doubted of your beauty, but that day i realize you are the most beautiful woman on earth. I will love you until the day i finally die.

Your concert one year ago in Prague, 21st October, was one of my greatest experience in all my life. And this year I didn’t know that You’ll return to Czech Republic once again. I heard it on radio and I was very surprised that You’re going to perform in Pardubice – in one week… I couldn’t go there and I still regret it, because I like My Winter Storm and You’re the best singer in the world, do You know it? I realized that I wish I could go there and see You and hear Your voice once more. And very often I dream about Your concerts at night, but most of these dreams are impossible. The dreams are often very similar: I’m going to Your concert, but I don’t know how to go there and I’m afraid of that I will come late and so on…
So I’m looking forward to What Lies Beneath and every day I think of it and hope that the moment will come very soon… Aaa, Tarja 4-EVER!!! ♥

Winter Strom was a great tour for the beginning of a solo =D
I really enjoyed to see Winter Strom in Brazil.
Especially in Curitiba, my city = D

Hey Tarja, I’m a total fan of your voice since I heard it the very first time on the nightwish album Wishmaster. I was greved when I heard that you were leaving Nightwish, and happy again when I heard of your solo album.
I just love your voice, but it seem’s so sad on “My winter storm” as if your soul was no longer there… your voice that used to make me shiver, and fly away listening to it no longer does… I hope to retrive the same sensations with your next solo albums… as I will remain a fan… just slightky less enthusiuastic about this album..

I want to thank you for last year’s concert in Czech republic in Pardubice (16. 10 2009). I am so happy that I could see you and hear live. This concert was brilliant.
