Antigua
Hello my friends and regards from Antigua, the land of the sea and sun!
I only heard nice stories about Antigua, so I came to this beautiful Caribbean island 10 days ago searching for some warmness and peace.
I feel that the island has more to offer to me than only the relaxing feeling of being on holidays. I think I have fallen in love with it.
Seriously, the locals are very friendly, the landscapes including amazing amount of gorgeous beaches are wonderful, the underwater world is enchanting and the positive energy on the island makes me feel very good. I am gathering around some ideas to be able to spend more time here in the future…
The other reason to visit the island beside the geography was that my friends from Ibiza, Torsten and Angela are now living here! This creative couple is making music for many artists, both locals and international.
We have already written together “The Reign” and “Damned and Divine” so I decided to start the process for the follow up to My Winter Storm album NOW.
I have some ideas already for it and I am sure I am able to put them together with the help of Torsten and Angela. I am very happy to be able to start working for the next album already, even though there are still many concerts to come during 2008 to present MWS.
Next week I will continue doing more promotion for My Winter Storm and now is the time for USA and Japan where the album will be released very soon.
Thanks to my Finnish fans that made My Winter Storm reach Platinum sales in my homeland Finland! Is a very successful debut album that I am very proud of.
The video that we filmed in the show we performed in Kuusankoski last year is ready now and we’ll figure out the way to show it to you all soon.

I’ve never heard of you and your kind of music untill I found the album My Winterstorm bij accident – next to the albums of Nightwish – I was attracted by the cover and the titels of the songs in My Winterstorm. I just saw on the main page the new tour dates for Europe; is it too much to ask to come to Latin America sometime this year?; specially to Venezuela if possible, as it is where I live. Heh. I have always wanted to go to one of your concerts (ever since I first heard you on Nightwish many years ago) and I have to say, I still would like to go to one of your concerts because sadly I’ve never been able to, but to travel to Europe is a little too much for us (both in time and price).
There are plenty of people here in Venezuela and all of Latin America waiting for you!!, so please, PLEASE Tour this continent this year; I can’t wait to go to one of your concerts.
I don’t know if you’ll read this, I hope you will; and if you do PLEASE consider this. We’ll be waiting for you, as always.
NOTE: My native language is spanish, but I decided to write in english as I don’t know if you understand spanish perfectly. I’m 100% sure you understand english though. Heh.
And of course, THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING!!

Pues , si , era algo que debia suceder y sucedió . FELICIDADES POR LOS RECONOCIMIENTOS MERECIDOS . Realmente uno se alegra al saber que las cosas te van tan bien . Por otro lado pude ver el video de DieAlive y , honestamente , me parece exelente … no sé como describirlo correctamente , pero creo que tiene una elegancia digna de reconocerse , me ha gustado y mucho . Algo más , por ahí lo sabe todo el mundo , pero a mi me sorprendió encontrar a todos lo personajes del video de I Walk Alone , medio escondidos en redor a la Reina del Hielo , en la tapa del disco . Lo encontré de casualidad ya que estaba cortando una ampliación y , al rodear una de las curvas me pareció ver una cara y , en efecto , se trataba de la de Dead Boy , luego fué fácil dar con La Muñeca y El Fénix … Tal vez no sea gran cosa , pero me parece un lindo detalle …
Que continuen los éxitos .

wieder in der live music hall. wieso nicht in einer größerer halle? wieviel kostet den ein ticket? gibt es wieder vippackete (die günstiger sind als letztes mal) ich würde dich so gerne nochmal live sehen, aber das ist alles so teuer und dort in der halle ist wenig platz B-)

An Sarah: Bei http://www.eventim.de steht, dass ein Ticket 36,00 Euro kostet! Ich persönlich finde es problematisch, dass Tarja wieder ein Köln Konzert mitten in der Woche gibt (man muss schließlich auch an die arbeitenden Menschen denken…
In den anderen Städten in Deutschland finden die Konzerte an Wochenenden statt!!! Finde ich ein wenig unfair!

I hope that your tour comes to my country, I’d love to see you performing live in Argentina, since I never had the chance to assist to your concerts back when you were with Nightwish.

Ihailen erityisesti sitä, kuinka osaat ottaa yleisöön heti sen jonkin yhteyden, että kaikki ovat heti mukana esityksessä… tämä nyt oli vähän sekava selitys, mutta ota nyt minusta ikinä mitään selvää… Moni artisti kuulostaa paremmalta levyltä kuin livenä, mutta sinun tapauksessasi asia on kyllä niin, että live-esiintymistä ja levyä ei voi verrata, koska kumpikin kuulostaa niin ÄLLISTYTTÄVÄN upealta!!! Joo… ja lisäksi sinulla on hirmu kauniit silmät. Ja mahtava nahkatakki.

Ajattelin tällä kertää kirjottaa vähän jostain ilosemmasta aiheesta, tai olihan mulla viimeksikki siinä niistä fani-paidoista ja muusta.
Onko sulla ikävä nightwishia? Toivottavasti ei sillä sulla on niin hyvä ääni, että huh huh. Sun äänes pääsee paremmin oikeuksiin kun oot yksin, mun mielestä. Jos oisit nightwishissa niin se ois parempi, huomattavasti.;)

En kyllä tiedä, olenko liian tyhmä, vai miksi en löytänyt sitä traileria tältä sivustolta katsottavakseni…?
Joten: Lemppareitani MWS:ltä ovat EHDOTTOMASTI I walk alone, My little phoenix, Boy and the Ghost, Sing for me, Ciarán’s Well, Minor Heaven, Calling Grace… nämä nyt ainakin, vaikka itseasiassa kaikki ovat niin ihania! Coveri poisonista on myös mahtava! Ja totta kai myös I walk alone (in extremo remix) oli aivan fantastinen!
Olisin haltioissani, jos saisit joskus aikaan sellaisen live-DVD:n, ;D tyyliin esim. From wishes to eternity… Lainasin tämän kyseisen lätyn kirjastosta, mutta pahaksi onneksi meidän romu DVD-soitin jummaa aina, kun yritän kattella sitä keikkaa…
Tiedätkö mitä? Tykkäsin äänestäsi hirveästi Nightwishin aikana, mutta jotenkin se pääsee nyt paremmin oikeuksiinsa!!! Tämä musiikki on juuri sinun näköistäsi! Rakastan sitä!!!

Hi Tarja, I love all the songs of your new album my winter storm. As I can’t wait that the album came to Colombia I asked cousin’s boyfriend if he could bought me the album in Madrid (Spain). Hello Tarja,
When will you visit South Africa to play for your fans here? I live in the coastal city of Port Elizabeth in South Africa and hope you’ll perform here in the near future. South Africans are a little tired of only the 3 or 4 largest cities (like Cape Town & Johannesburg) here getting to hear and to have top musicians perform there. Though in PE, we’ve had Celine Dion, Counting Crows, Smokie, Katie Malua and Live, and we’ll soon have Eddy Grant perform, although they usually just have a one night show. This is despite the absolute beauty of my city.
