Schöne Erinnerungen, viele Lieder und wunderbares Wetter; eines Tages werden wird zurückkehren…

Aber ich kann noch einen Eintrag posten, den ich hier zu schreiben angefangen habe.
Ich habe im Blog und im Forum gelesen, dass viele von euch hobbymäßig singen. Manche singen in einer Band und viele von euch singen auch klassisch. Ich wurde auch oft über Gesangstechniken gefragt.
Deshalb dachte ich mir, ich poste einen Beitrag, der sich hauptsächlich an jene richtet, die an den verschiedenen Techniken der Gesangsaufnahmen interessiert sind.
Ich hoffe, es gefällt euch und die anderen Fans, die keine Sänger/innen sind, finden es nicht allzu langweilig. ☺
Während der Gesangsaufnahmen zu „My Winter Storm“ habe ich viele neue Aufnahmetechniken ausprobiert, die für mich als Sängerin notwendig wurden. Ich möchte diese Informationen mit euch teilen für den Fall, dass einige von euch dieselben Probleme hatten wie ich.
Vor dieser Aufnahmesession habe ich immer Kopfhörer während der Aufnahmen benutzt. Die haben mich aber immer sehr gestört. Ich bin nicht entspannt genug, weil ich meine Stimme nicht richtig in dem Raum hören kann, in dem ich aufnehme. Deshalb habe ich beschlossen, einen anderen Weg zu finden. Eine angenehmere Methode, die es mir ermöglicht, meine Stimme besser zu nutzen als zuvor.
Es ist notwendig für mich, dass meine gesamte Gesichtsmuskulatur entspannt ist. Wenn ich die Kopfhörer benutze, öffne ich meinen Mund nicht weit genug für eine korrekte und klare Artikulation.
Das beeinflusst die Freiheit, die die Stimme haben sollte, erheblich. Wenn die Stimme nicht genug Raum zum fließen hat, hört es sich angespannt und verkrampft an.
Ich verwende die Kopfhörer so, dass sie nur ein Ohr bedecken und ich mit dem anderen Ohr meine Stimme im Raum hören kann. Das hilft dabei, den Ton klar zu halten und vermittelt auch den Eindruck als würde ich live aufnehmen.
Abhängig vom Lied lege ich sie auch nur in den Nacken. So höre ich gerade genug von der Musik, um den Takt halten zu können. Auf diese Weise habe ich beide Ohren frei und das, was noch aus den Kopfhörern in die Aufnahmen durchsickert, ist nicht allzu groß.
Diese beiden Methoden funktionieren aber nur, wenn ich nicht mit meiner klassischen, vollen Stimme singe.
Wenn ich klassisch singe, möchte ich überhaupt keine Kopfhörer verwenden.
Die Kopfhörer befinden sich dann weiter weg von mir (oder ich verwende anstelle der Kopfhörer normale Lautsprecher). Was von der Musik noch aus den Kopfhörern oder den Lautsprechern in die Aufnahmen fließt, ist auch hier nicht allzu groß, da die Stimme laut genug ist.
Für mich ist es wichtig, meine Stimme so natürlich wie möglich im Raum zu hören. Die beste Methode für mich wenn ich klassisch singe oder klassische Singtechniken anwende ist es, die Akustik des Ortes wirklich wahrzunehmen.
Wenn ich klassische Singtechniken anwende, entspricht die Akustik in den Kopfhörern nicht derjenigen des Raumes, in dem ich singe. Sie wird so manipuliert, dass sie so echt wie möglich klingt, aber man kann das nie genau genug nachahmen.
Wenn ich mit einer Referenz singe, die nicht der natürlichen Umgebung entspricht, verwende ich instinktiv meinen Körper um meine Stimme dem anzupassen, was ich höre. Dabei erreicht man nicht das bestmögliche Ergebnis. Ich fühle mich nicht wohl, wenn ich singe ohne genau zu hören wie ich singe.
Ich kann klassische Gesangsparts auch nicht in einer Singzelle (kleiner Raum für Gesangsaufnahmen in Studios) singen, denn die Atmosphäre ist sehr „trocken“. Diese Räume im besonderen und Studios im allgemeinen sind so konstruiert, dass sie Töne nicht reflektieren und man so für das Mikrophon ein reines Tonsignal von der Stimme oder den Instrumenten bekommt. Doch wenn ich das natürliche Echo meiner Stimme nicht hören kann, ist es für mich nicht möglich zu singen.
Zusammenfassend kann man sagen: ich kann unter allen Bedingungen singen, aber das Ergebnis wäre nicht so gut wie es eigentlich sein könnte. Ich möchte mit dem Klang meiner Stimme auf meinem eigenen Album zufrieden sein 
Wenn ich mich selbst nicht gut genug hören kann (mit oder ohne Kopfhörer), bemüht man sich automatisch lauter zu singen. Auf diese Weise ermüdet die Stimme und ich kann den Druck sehr leicht fühlen.
Deshalb nehme ich lieber in größeren Räumen mit entsprechender Akustik auf. Das kann man nur in einem Raum ohne akustische „Vorbehandlung“ machen. Eine sehr große Halle wäre aber auch nicht geeignet. Es würde z.B. nicht funktionieren, ein Rockalbum in einer Kirche aufzunehmen.
Für eine gute Unterstützung der Stimme und eine bessere aufrechte Haltung, benutze ich normalerweise einige cm hohe Absätze. Dieses Mal in Ibiza hatte ich diese aber nicht dabei, deshalb benutzte ich stattdessen ein paar Bücher!
Das sieht komisch aus, aber es funktioniert. So muss ich nicht zu sehr über meine Haltung nachdenken und kann mich besser entspannen.
Ich hoffe, dass diese Informationen für einige von euch nützlich sind. Doch jede/r Sänger/in hat eigene Methoden für Gesangsaufnahmen. Diese hier funktionieren für mich, aber nicht notwendigerweise für jeden anderen auch.
Aber es ist ja nicht verboten, Erfahrungen auszutauschen!
Viele von euch haben es auch richtig erraten: der erste Gastmusiker in „My Winter Storm“ ist Kiko Loureido von Angra!
Ich habe mich sehr gefreut, dass er einige schöne Gitarrenparts in verschiedenen Songs gespielt hat. Er hat genau für die richtige Atmosphäre gesorgt, nach der ich gesucht hatte.
Ich bin sehr froh, dass er die Stimmung meiner Musik so gut eingefangen und er trotz des straffen Zeitplans von Angra noch die Zeit für die Aufnahmen gefunden hat. Vielen Dank auch an Rafael, Edu, Felipe, Aquiles und Tonino dafür, dass ihr mir euren Partner „ausgeliehen“ habt!
Zurück in Finnland hat gestern in den Finnvox Studios die zweite Gastmusikerin gespielt wie eine Göttin. Sie ist eine enge Freundin von mir und ich bin absolut glücklich darüber, sie in meinem Album zu haben.
