Back in Finland!
Tour was awesome!!!!!!!!!!!
It is hard to think that next shows with the band will happen only in May 2009 
It is a long time to wait, but I guess the time will run fast as it has done so in the last years.
Anyway I have many activities that will keep me very busy starting right now. I will tell you about it in the next posts.
Let me tell you what happened during the last weeks of the tour.
I got a big surprise from Bulgaria. There were around 5000 people in the audience in my show in Sofia! Absolutely amazing considering it was my first time ever to visit Bulgaria! WOW. People were so kind to us there. I will never forget that spirit and feeling.
I was also very happy to visit Israel. Jerusalem was exciting and interesting. We had a good guide there with us, the local promoter who knew amazing stories and a lot about the history of Israel. You should always consider using a guide while visiting Jerusalem. There almost every stone has a story to tell. The concert was nice and people were happy to receive us there.
A couple of hours after the show the whole band and crew travelled to Eilat and spent the whole day in a yacht on the Red Sea. Many of us went to dive, some of us for the first time ever, like Mike and Oliver!
It was a great great day for everybody and the best way to relax during the tour. Sun gave us a lot of new energy to keep on going with the tour.
After Israel we travelled to Kiev and to Minsk. Both places were new for me as well and I felt that I had just enough time to see a glimpse of the beauty of these great, big cities. I received many beautiful presents and greetings from my fans in Ukraine and Belarus.
It was just great to get to know many of them personally. I hope to be able to return one day.
The same day we arrived to Moscow, I already had a pleasure to meet my Russian fans in a meet & greet. There were people that I knew from years back, but also many new people to greet. My youngest fan was only 4 years old and she loved to sit on my lap all the time! It was so funny. I guess the concert in Moscow was again one of the best gigs on the tour. I felt really relaxed, since I saw many familiar faces in the audience.
And again, I received hundreds of beautiful flowers! It was so big pity not to be able the travel with them…well I hope the hotel staff took really good care of them.
After Moscow’s show we had the pleasure to experience Moscow’s Metro. Since the traffic in Moscow is a bit chaotic, we needed to literally run underground just not to loose our train, which was going to Samara, our next destination. All band, crew and local people in charge needed to run like crazy to reach the main train station.
It was not very fun even the smiles for the camera! In the end we made just 3’ before the departure. What is not that bad 
The train was very cosy indeed. Really nice service and comfortable beds to sleep over night. The trip took 16 hours, but everybody slept well. We woke up in the chilly Samara and had the last show in a nice venue. It was a great ending for the tour, even though everybody agreed that they would have wanted to continue still with the tour a bit longer. Everything worked so well this time, better than ever before.

I was at the consert in MINSK, I came there from Pietari!! I was with big bunch of flowers – after the consert! Did you like my presents ^^? I’m so happy about you, that you saw sooo many new places, I hope you liked Russia, Red square and moscow METRO! But it is really difficult for foreigners to approach right place in such big sity ang big underground. You’re lucky that you have managed to cach your train! In Pietari Metro is not such a big.
And I want to say – I’m always happy if I know that you are okay. Take care!

Tarja, you wrote about “familiar faces” in the audience. I mean, wow, do you really remember the faces of some of your fans?! Do you know that this is not normal for many artists? I think most of the singers just watch in a whole mass of people and don’t recognisze anyone, they do not even try. But it seems that if you look in the audience you really see human beings- individuals. That is great! Thank you!!!! I love you even more now that I know this.

We were so glad that you visited Russia and had the whole two concerts.I saw some parts of your concert on video and many pictures. You are wonderful/ I hope that next year yor tour in Russia will be wider and you will visit Krasnoyarsk or Novosibirsk. I am a big fan of Tarja Turunen but not in a creepy way. I am also a big fan of NW. I can see that Tarja is managing her career much more wisely than Anette. Both Tarja and Anette are pretty, have kind and warm personnas but the similarities stop there. Anette clearly underestimated what she got herself into and overestimated her talent and capacity to fill in Tarja’s big shoes…
What a difference between Anette ‘s exhausting schedule and Tarja’s wisely planned tour. When I look at how this tour has aged Anette, there is definitely something wrong. I feel sorry for her because she has some talent but nowhere near the level that NW’s incredible music requires, an horrifying fashion taste (seeing Anette in an outfit the like I wore in the 80′s is NOT a good look!) and obviously little idea on how to look after herself. I think it is wonderful that Tarja and her band are able to take advantage of the tour to visit the places they go to perform. I believe that Tarja has learned her lesson from being in NW but NW has not learned any lessons and they are making the same mistakes with Anette than they did with Tarja. Unfortunetly for Anette, she doesn’t seem to have the force of caractere needed to resist the demands of NW (Tuomas?). Good on you Tarja to say no to too much touring: bad for the voice, the look and what is the point? to get burnt out and create family problems?
I believe that Tuomas is a great composer, a very sensitive man. But he is also an introvert and imo lacks leadership skills and foresight. I don’t know if he is really that well advised. Otherwise he would never have let go of Tarja…(or was it unbearable to see her day after day with her hubby instead of him?…)

I visited your concert in Minsk – and I still cant say a word, everything was so great. Yoa are really much better than on fotos in the Internet. Sometimes it seems live is so stupid and sad, but you returned me to live and your music still continues doing that. I got a lot of positive emotions. I wish you return to Minsk, because I`he already promoted your song to several people, so did a lot of other people, who visited your concert. Thank you so much

I want to tell you how I found you. It was in the beginning of 2007 when I had to move somewhere I knew nobody to do a job which emerged to be awful. To do at least something that made me happy I spent some time in a big record shop in town to look for new music to keep me alive. They had a canvas in this shop where one day they showed your “end of an era” dvd. I was banned of the beauty of this music and of the power and emotion that came directedly from the band on the canvas into my heart. I had never heard and seen anything so wonderful before. I stood in front of this canvas into the shop at least three quarters of an hour until I started to interview the shop assistent who was it that did this beautiful music. He told me that this band had already broken apart and when i heard this I just felt the hopeful palace that built into my heart during listening to this gig boke slowly down.- But since then I was only able to listen to your music and nothing else.
When you released your new cd I needed half a year to get used to the new spirit and sound. It lasted long until I understood what it was all about. But there was this song “boy and the ghost” that touched me so much that I wanted to accompany you in singing it to understand it better. But I didn’t dare until june this year. When I then tried it- I suddenly found out what the song is about. The beauty and deepnes of the words and sound suddenly overwhelmed me and I had to cry. Since then I listen to your cd every day and chose the songs I listen and sing of my mood. In the beginning I couldn’t sing any song full lenth for there are always tricky parts on them which only a master as you can overcome. But I become better and now I can nearly sing every song of your cd (after half a year…)- never as beautiful as you. I don’t want to sing your songs instead of you, I want to sing them WITH you!
I love you! And I love your music!!!! SO MUCH!!!
And I am very happy that we are in the same age for then we can become old together and thank god you said you want to sing all your life long!!!
