Dublin – Peter Gabriel
Yesterday was a great day.
The weather didn’t help that much, but all the rest was perfect.
In my visit to Dublin I “was forced” to run to a nice Shopping center to get shelter from the heavy rain 
But the rain didn’t seem to stop, so I gathered some strength, bought a useful raincoat and continued walking the streets for several hours.
There are lovely bridges all over the city and lot to see in general. The architecture looks similar to UK. I liked the colourful old buildings. People were surprisingly kind and friendly everywhere. I have felt this already at the studio which is in the country side, but I didn’t expect the same in Dublin, being a big city.
Unfortunately I couldn’t take that many photos as I would have loved to because at some moments it was raining really badly. I ended up totally wet. But still I managed to have one photo with the Dublin Spire behind me.
It was still early, but I decided to go to Marlay Park to avoid traffic jam of Friday’s afternoon.
When I arrived to this beautiful park where Peter Gabriel’s concert took place, it was very empty.
That fact changed some hours later. I guess that around 10.000 people assisted to the concert despite the bad weather.
It was very sad that it begun to rain again during the performance of Crowded House. I lost a good part of the show staying in the big, warm and dry back stage area.
Peter Gabriel’s show was scheduled to begin at 21:00. Around 20:15, still Crowded House was performing their last songs. It was very kind of Mr Gabriel to show himself around. We were talking for a while about our common profession and that is a pity that he has still never performed in Finland in his career. I couldn’t do less, of course, than invite him to visit us one day 
The show was really amazing. I enjoyed it a lot. It was also very interesting to see how many things are there for me to learn as an artist.
In the last years I discovered Peter Gabriel’s music beside his best known big hits. I realised that we are not that far away in many aspects of the musical concept that I will be taking. A touch of theatre in the performances, good songs, dark passages. Thanks a lot Peter for your time and for your music.
Today we started my vocal recordings with Doug (UK) while in a different room in the studio complex Alex continues recording guitars with Daniel (Presley).
Still we will be at Grouse Lodge for some more days.

It’s pity that it was bad weather, but what can you do, nature nature…at least you met Peter, I think his concert was great!

Sounds like you had fun and there are some amazing photos you’ve posted. I love looking at your photos – they are always really nice to look at and the place looks amazing as well. I really want to visit Dublin one day now.

Ireland is very nice, Dublin Spire looks awesome and I’ve been told ppl are friendly, hope someday I can go there. I’m longing for some rain here, it’s been so hot here in Slovenia. Being wet in the rain can be nice, but with dry clothes near by cause catching a cold is not that nice 
can’t wait to hear the first samples!

Here in the British Isles we were forcast a long hot summer, like we had last year.
Well they got that wrong didn’t they !
Seems that the hot april we had must have been it.

Well, Ireland and UK, aren’t the best places to go for a sunbath but nevertheless seem to be a good place to visit. I’ve been to London once and it was also raining 4 out of 7 days but judging from your words, you had had yourself a beautiful time…
All of us, meaning your fans, know you are also very busy regarding your new project and we are grateful for it. Just yesterday I’ve received your album with Beto Vazquez called Infinity from Deutschland must say it’s wonderful. Too bad people can’t buy it here in Slovenia. I must also pay respects to Mr. Peter Gabriel, he really is a legendary musician and I can’t help thinking he’s also a great inspiration to you too.
I like our Tarja inspired for only through inspiration again great music will be born!
Less rainy days, more sunny ones wherever you go… also come visit your forum when you have some time…
