First part of the Storm in Europe 2008 tour is over.
My friends,
First of all I want to thank you all for giving me the chance to perform on the Storm tour in Europe 2008.
It was an amazing experience for me personally and professionally. I got to meet many nice people, see beautiful cities, have so much fun with my band and crew and get remarkable memories.
I will never forget my last month on the road in Europe.
Everything went fine and we all returned back home tired but happy. I will miss my band members so much.
Thanks a lot also to Janne and Harriet and Passionworks that were with us most of the time.
At the backstage after the gig in Stockholm I met Dani Vorndran, the winner of the Tour Book Photo contest. Thanks Dani for so lovely photos.
The last concert in Helsinki was the perfect ending for the tour. Some people told me after the show that they had been waiting my concert in Helsinki for 3 years! And it was worth to wait in their words.
Here you have still some last shots from the tour.
I want to show you some nice pictures we took from the tour bus, which was our traveling home for a month.
Our driver Gunnar drove us safely everywhere, many thanks to him.
The other photos are from the ferry that we took from Stockholm to Helsinki.
In few days I’ll go for a promo trip to England. I will visit my fans in Download festival and make interviews for the local media.
Soon after England, I’ll travel again to Antigua. There I will write songs for my new album with my friends Michelle, Kiko, Torsten, Angela and Adrian. I am sure that the sun and warmness of Antigua will help us to come up with beautiful melodies.
Maybe I’ll have some time for diving too… 
After Antigua I will travel to USA for my first promo trip there and next time you’ll see me on the tour in South America! I am really looking forward to meet my fans over there. 
Can’t wait!
So there will be no worries about what to do in this summer…

And now he skipped Dark Passion Play and listens to MWS. While playing with a pink elephant btw. He’s smart for a boy of 1 year and 8 months

I am so happy for you, that you now, suddenly, can do with your music what you want to do and that you can do that with people who take you as you are!!
Oh, I wish I could see you in England or America. But at the moment I just don’t have the money to pay for any concert. I was not even able to come to one in Germany.
But be sure, as soon I am earning enough money again you’ll see me in every concert I can go to.
Your music is a dream and your personality is really very nice. I love both of them.

Olin tässä reissussa ja yllätyin todella iloisesti, kun huomasin tänne tulleen päivityksiä oikein urakalla…
Kiva kun kiertue on mennyt hyvin, tukholmasta oli hauskoja kuvia, ja kuvista “…photos are from the ferry that we took from Stockholm to Helsinki”, tunnistin osan paikoista… Nauti olostasi Antigualla, toivottavasti on aurinkoista. Itse tuskailen täällä kotosalla säiden kanssa, puissa eivät lehdet ole kunnolla vielä edes hiirenkorvalla… Oli lähellä, etten hypännyt kattoon, kun luin, että mietitte jo seuraavaa levyäsi, sitä odottelen innolla.

Dear Tarja,
I know that it is quite often at the moment that I write in here. Sorry but I have to tell you something noone else might really understand.
My oldest friend is marrying soon and I am expected to sing the “Ave Maria” for them. I never sang that song before, so I am very nervous. Because I am not able to play any instrument I needed to listen to someone who is singing it. Of course I chose you, singing it in 2005. So I spent a long time listening to you (youtube)and then qietly accompanying you. I was shocked about the hight the song really has. You sing it so beautiful and I thought “O.K., I’ll cancel all this I’ll never make it.” But I tried it again and again to accompany you and tried especially the heavy parts very often. It was good to see you in the video, for I learned how to open my mouth and in which direction to spread the lips. And then it suddenly happened that there were opened some rooms into my head that never opened before! We call it “Resonanzräume”. And I could feel the vibration of my own sound everywhere in and outside of my body. And, oh dear- I never have had so much air in my body before. But then I was finally able to sing it. Not that great like you of course. But at least as good, that I have not to be ashamed any more.
It was such a wonderful experience and without learning from you I would not have mamaged that!
I am still hovering from this experience and walking now two centimetres above the ground

Thank You for everything!! Because of you I was finally able to draw people… Firstly I simply chosed a person’s picture from the internet. I chosed you. I never drew a person before, and I wasted a ton of papers drawing you over and over again. Each time i got irritated, because something was escaping from me each time i drew your eyes. Now I know it was magic. I spent weeks trying to draw you, going toward the perfection. And one day – I did it! I drew you exactly how I wanted, your glance was so powerful, it was killing. Demon wings added drama to entire picture. Red hair, and eyes made you look as a Fallen Angel. Here’s the link to the drawing:

I am wondering what you are doing at the moment!! I hope that the progress of the new album will be good, write some good songs

I can see in the pictures that you had a genuinely good time touring Europe… I’m really very happy that you had such a marvellous experience with your new fellow band members. I can tell from the look in your eyes that you’re much more relaxed now, and that you’re truly enjoying yourself this time. And it does reflect on your performances…!
I can’t wait till you come back to your second home town, Buenos Aires… I’m counting the days until September, when we can meet again!! I was one of the lucky people who got to meet you about two years ago during the signing session in that CD store in Belgrano, and I’ll never forget that day… how warm you were to every single one of us, how kindly you treated us… I’ll never forget how you held me for the picture and how thankful you were when my friend and I gave you the roses! I still smile at the memory of your smile and the look in your eyes…!
I hope you can get a well deserved rest before you start off with the second leg of the tour, and I hope also that the new album comes out just the way you want it to!

Dear Tarja,
I saw you in Warsaw, Poland a while back with my friend, and I must say you were absolutely amazing. Actually, my mum was the one who bought your CD first (shame on me, i know. but i was a tiny bit sceptical and covered in schoolwork) Both of us enjoyed listening to it, and it also became the coming-home soundtrack of skiing 2008 xD I found out about your concert through the joint’s website, and started squeeling and running around in circles, litterally. On the day of the concert I was diagnosed with toncilitis by the school nurse, while me mouthing various profanities at my mate which basically amounted to this: “i am still going” I went, and I really did not regret it!!!! Also, going to your concert got us the chance to get tickets to Bob Dylan, because we would otherwise not have the time to drive up to the ticket booth. I was at the very front and centre, and had one of the best times in my short life! You are truly one of the only people who can make me cry with a song ^^

Firstly, congratulations for your album and your tour. It’s beautiful that you could do what you wanted.
I know that maybe you don’t want to hear again and again about nightwish (I can’t imagine how many interviews you have done about them) but I wanted to tell you, only one thing, I promise!=)
I think that Tuomas (and all other nightwish) didn’t want to hurt you. Maybe they have written those things because they haven’t understood you. You was married and so it was normal to stay with your husband. But when a person doesn’t speak with another for so long time it’s dangerous, because you don’t understand anymore what the other person wants to say. I remember your phrase “I don’t need Nightwish”, maybe you have said this in a differente way, but for Tuomas, that was also an old friend, maybe has been hurted by this phrase. It’s not your fault, but I think it’s neither nightwish fault. May I ask you to think about this? It’s very sad to see friends divided like this, and I think it’s sad also for you.

Yeah, Tarja,
I also think even if you sang any “pille-palle” Song it would become art through your voice!
I only wondered, if it is necessary that you leave the stage in the middle of some songs at your concerts. I think it may disturb so much of the song’s spitit if the singer doesn’t stay into its mood until the end. I know that you might leave to change your clothes, but, you know what? – Your voice and personality on stage are so strong and wonderful that people would even love you if you wore rags!!!
Please don’t minimize the miracle of your own songs by leaving in the middle of them!!! They’re just too beautiful to do this!!
