Happy Christmas and New Year!
Dear friends,
My Xmas tour is happily over. The concert in Seinäjoki was a great success and it was just wonderful to sing in the famous church of Lakeuden risti, which is designed by Alvar Aalto. The acoustics in that church is amazing. I felt like singing in a huge cathedral.
People seemed to be happy to receive us there and we saw that many music lovers attended the event. It was sad though to end the successful tour with Kalevi, Marzi and Markku, but I am sure we will be working together pretty soon again. I wish them all best of luck for their new challenges. I also want to thank for the great collaboration once again. It was fantastic opportunity to sing with you guys!
Day after Seinäjoki my journey took me to freezing Moscow.
I had two days of rehearsals with the orchestra Globalis and conductor Anton Shaburov.
It was great to see how enthusiastic the players were to play my songs. I was truly surprised by their attitude and talent.
The venue was not exactly what I had in my mind for an Xmas concert with an orchestra, but the local promoters wanted to make the show there. I discovered that not many people were aware that I was going to perform an Xmas concert program!!
I still hope people were happily surprised by my concert.
The night itself was an amazing experience for me personally, since is always beautiful to sing in front of an orchestra and the audience was just overwhelmingly warm to us. So many smiles and happy faces!
Thank you once again Russia for a great support and love. As I promised, I will be back very soon with my new album and band.
Thanks Tommi for the gorgeous lights and Pete for the crystal clear sound! Here we stopped at the Kremlin after the concert and few glasses of red wine 
Now there is no time to waste; even a day, since I am going to be working hard with the new songs for “What lies beneath”. Next time I’ll write about how things are going with the album pre-production. Exciting times ahead of us!

Happy Cristmas and New Year, Tarja!
I regret that I could not come at a concert in Moscow, because I live in Perm(Perm is located in the center of Russia and here is colder than in Moscow). I have read some reviews of the concert, people were surprised at the Xmas concert program, but these reviews were full of admiration from the concert.
I hope that I can visit your future concerts in Russia, because I just recently discovered your work for myself, and I was charmed by each of your songs.

Could I imagine the greater Christmas gift than this magic concert in Moscow?
My beautiful Star! You were so charming, magnificent, lovely, soft… and suddenly so gracefully grasping and formed! 
But this Christmas time… only for a bit.
Could I send you so many thanks as there were handclaps to your bewitching performance?
I’m sure that most people who came knew about the concert from the Internet, so they knew it will be different
I think most of the people knew and they were ready for it. Most of men came with jackets, suits dressed on, many ladies weared evening dresses, so I’m sure the most of the auditory knew clear the program. And they enjoyed a lot, you saw it!
I heard from people working in this venue, that they had never seen anything like that before in this venue! B1 Club will remember you for a long since that time!
You performed so many of my lovings songs… The Reign was as nice as it was at Baltic festival this year, and you performed ____ I love so…
When you started Stille Nacht we couldn’t join!!! We couldn’t join because almost NOBODY knew the lyrics, neither English nor Russian text! Shame! 
There was one funny but shameful moment
For many metall lovers this concert was… such a crystal, soft and touching gift, as for me too. I think many of them felt this. In that dark rock venue, you were as a soft summer flower, small warm fire, which couldn’t be expected there, in that place and time, which was impossible, unreal! But there were you, and everybody, regardless of they wanted to rock and dance or not, tried to protect this soft fire, and love it. Thank you so much, my love.

My car died today. I blame you. You see, the music I play in the car is mostly yours (with and without Nightwish) and the song that was on when it died was “Die Alive.” It was running fine yesterday, and this is the only explanation I can come up with.
Of course, it could have something to do with the fact that the transmission has had multiple problems in the past, and that the car is 15 and that its been wrecked before, but I think my explanation is much more logical. You killed my car with the awesome power of your voice. I bow before your greatness, and I know now that should you decide to take over the world, it would not be wise to oppose you. I just ask that you don’t impose the strange Finnish ritual of running out of the freaking hot sauna into the freaking cold water on the rest of the world. We are too weak to handle that. Especially here in America. (we will be easily taken over, I have secrets that will help you. Just ask)
Anyway, I will be expecting an apology, at the very least, and possibly a check in the mail to cover the expenses of either fixing my car, or buying a new one. You can have Marcelo email me and I will send him my address. Of course, you can subtract the postage cost from the total. I wouldn’t expect you to pay to mail it all the way from Finland. That could be very expensive.

I wish you both a Happy Holiday Season.
I am writing this comment as I just recently started listening to Tarja and I have to say she has the finest voice in the Rock genre (any of them) in over 30 years. I cannot remember a voice as lovely as yours. Even my mother, previously and operatic saprano herself says you have a wonderful voice. Another reason I am writing this is that I would really love to see you in concert. Do you have any future plans for a concert in the USA. I ask becuase I have recently found out that I have a problem with my blood, it is not producign red blood cells any longer, hopefully it can be fixed, but if it can’t I would like to find somewhere that you are doing a cnocert that I can get to. I would just love to hear ou sing in person before something bad might happen and I don’t get the chance. I am 52 years old and live in the Boston area of the USA. If you are planning any concerts it wold be nice to know as I will make every effort to get there to see you, hopefully VIP. Your beautiful voice is helping me through these very difficult times, i listen to ou everyday. Well I do hope I get to see you in concert oneday. Take care and keep on singing, never stop, you have a gift that should be heard.

I am preparing myself already for some concerts in 2010! I will attend your show at Masters of Rock this summer in Vizovice. I allmost can’t wait! It will be lot’s of traveling for me, since I live near Amsterdam. BUT IT WILL BE SO MUCH WORTH IT, I AM SURE!!!! It will be phenomenal to hear you sing with your beautiful voice together with the orchestra!
I am hoping and wishing for a new European tour for your next album, especially with VIP tickets. The first time we met, was also during a VIP dinner, in Amsterdam remember? I have had the time of my life and it really changed my life since that day! I was going through rough times in my life back then, and I could only see one solution: MEETING YOU!
It really changed a lot in me in a good way. You and your music keeps me strong and happy! And in difficult times, you are always there for me (via the speakers of my stereo, or meeting you in person!)
You are one of the best things in my life! I am grateful for everything that you do! You are able to touch the heart of your listeners and fans, giving them a warm and loved feeling inside! bringing smiles on their faces, making them cry of hapiness!

Hello, Tarja! First of all, I`d like to tell you that I`m a great fan of yours, every since you were the leading vocals in your former band, Nightwish. That`s why my nickname is Wishmaster, my friends called me this way every since I was studying at the University. I loved your music, I still do, and I don`t think that`s gonna change in the next 50-60 years (I`m only 25);)
Secondly, your solo career is awesome, and that`s because of your incredible gift.
My biggest regret is that I have not had the chance to come to any of your concerts, to see you live, but every day I listen to your songs, as a compensation…. When I found out you`re coming to Romania (this is where I`m from), it was already too late, so I got really dissapointed.
Hope you`ll come again some day…. Until that day, I wish you all my best, to you and your family and a long career!

Muy lindas fotos, Que lindos lugares.
Tengo la suerte de vivir en Argentina y conocer lugares asi de hermoso tambien.
Este año las fiestas no las pase con familia, estuve viajando por Cordoba y desgraciadamente no pude ir a la iglesia, eso me hizo sentir mal. Esto viene a que vi fotos de catedrales y crucifijos y me senti culpable.
Tarja te felicito por tu forma social de vivir la vida. Es roconfortante saber que en la vida todavia existen personas asi. (seria muy negativo si pienso que en verdad Tarja jamas leera esto, jaja)

Hello Tarja! I’m 15 and I started listening to your music for about two months. Since then you have become my favorite singer. All your work is spectacular, including with Nightwish! Unfortunately from what I see, you’re not thinking about coming to Portugal! We, Portuguese people love you, I know that we don´t have good producers and sponsors … but you could come here at least once … please …
Tarja you are fantastic and beautiful, and your voice sounds that came from heaven! Despite of my age I just enjoy fantastic Voices like yours, Céline Dion, Whitney Houston, Bonnie Tyler! so I again I say … you have an amazing voice, please give us the opportunity to hear you in our country!
