Happy people travelling
Touring has been very good so far.
The band and crew have had on our off-days enough time to see places and to do other activities, such as visiting local artist’s concerts.
I have been busy promoting my album and the tour.
It has been nice to meet many of my fans and get to know their opinion about my work.
Latin American people are giving me a lot of strength to go on with this “merry go round”.
Show in Bogotá was just great. Everything worked out fine and people were happy 
Next day we all went up the hill called Montserrat with a cable car.
We found a beautiful church and couple of old and charming restaurants. It was nice to be literally upon the clouds.
We had lunch there and got to see the city of Bogotá a bit more before rushing to the airport.
Now we are in Belo Horizonte, Brazil and we just returned from our show tonight. It feels good to be back in here and the audience was awesome!
This time I am not sick, as it has been the case before in the last two times I had concerts here. It seems that when I am happy, my body functions better too 
Finally I could offer the local people a great show!
I cannot forget to mention that it was also wonderful to visit Fortaleza for the first time. The hotel was located just in front of the ocean, so the beach and the sound of the sea were enchanting. I love to be close to the sea. It is making me relax immediately.
Well, the local people as well as the weather were HOT.
The concert was very emotional and people seemed to enjoy it a lot. I heard that it has been very difficult for Fortaleza to get international artists/bands performing there.
I hope this will change in the future.
All the other concerts in Brazil went all just fine too. We have had best time together as a band and group of lovely people.
I am still thanking God every day for giving me these nice people to work with and to spend nice time with.

Hi Tarja! I’m glad to know that you were not sick this time…I was at your show here in Belo Horizonte. It was so amazing! You and the band were awesome! Thank you for had been here and given me the best night I’ve ever had in years. Do not forget Belo Horizonte because we love you so much and can’t wait to see you again. I’ve been with you at the signing session and I was so nervous that I just stop shaking about a half hour after you left!! But you were so nice and sweet with me I just wanna thank you a lot again. I was show in Fortaleza and I never imagined to attend you there. I am of the state on the side, I traveled 10 hours of bus, passing very badly during whole the road. I was anxious to see you. I lost the appetite, I was with emotional fever, hahahaha. But finally my largest dream was accomplished. You are simply perfect. I am very happy of reading all those praises to Fortaleza, it would like to have found you in the beach. Really the city is incredible and the sea is charming.

drinking coconut water and buying things. You and Maria should try the dry shrimp.You and Mary should experience the shrimp dry, very tasty. Indeed the sea of Fortaleza is special. It’s nice to see you are happy! We lost something with the NW split, but however your talent is still awesome and obviously you feel better now, so I’m sure your solo career was the right thing.
I only regret you’re completely unknown in France, and I wonder if we’ll have the chance, as a country, to discover rock made in northern europe, because I’m starting to really be fed up with R&B and rap in the media (not to mention the local artists we have here…)

…. So Brazilian Tour is over and now just remain Chile and then you’ll be here with us in Argentina:) in only 6 days, less than a week I can’t believe it !!

You know what? Every time I see new pictures of you, you look ever more beautiful! I can really tell you are happy!
But one thing, can you give us bigger versions of the photos? Sometimes it’s hard to recognise who’s pictured in them.
Again and again, there are some strange and funny pictures among them. I often wonder who is doing what in them.
LOL’d at the “HOT local people”. You sure love Latin America. I’d love to go there myself.
I’ve heard from Ani that you’ve learned Portuguese. Didn’t know about that, but it turns out that she was quite right. Cool!
It’s great that you take time to bond with your band. Of course, that’s how it’s supposed to be.
I’ve seen the supposed lyrics of “Enough”. Not sure if they’re correct, but they make sense to me and are quite thought-provoking. I wonder who wrote them, they sound vitriolic in a way, but no doubt, the wording is subtle and clever. Some people say the lyrics smack of revenge, but I don’t agree. If the shoe fits …
I see that you are friends with the Angra guys. You know, I’ve wondered if it wouldn’t make sense to have Kiko and Rafael to give you a hand with songwriting. Nothing against Torsten, Mathias, Anders and the others, they’re all very talented, but if your next album is going to be heavier and more rock/metal-oriented, I think the Angra guys would be the ideal collaborators, having all the relevant qualifications (except film music and “sound design”, but for that you seem to have other people): many years’ worth of experience in metal, and a wide horizon beyond that.
It’s just something that struck me as fitting and even obvious. Perhaps there is something I failed to consider, but I wouldn’t know.
They’ve got a classical and academic background just like you (but the practical skills too). I’m sure you could learn a lot from them, and playing both guitar and piano on a more than basic level can’t hurt when writing this kind of music. In addition, I’ve understood the band cannot publish new material under the name Angra for some time, so perhaps this could be a way to make something good out of this awkward situation.
Of course it’s not my job to tell you who to co-operate with.
Since you asked for fans’ opinions, I’d like to respectfully voice a suggestion. I would prefer a more melodic guitar style to the Rammstein/Evanescence-like riffs Alex plays on MWS, especially for your voice and classically influenced music. In my humble opinion (I’ve seen several people agree with me, though), it would fit better.
Apart from that, I have no major complaints, and I love your solo material, though it would be great to hear even more of your operatic voice. Let me just say that I greatly enjoy Mike’s drumming and that it would be fantastic to hear him on the second album.
That aside, I am very curious about your ideas for the next album.
I’ve heard a strange story from Porto Alegre that made me a bit worried. There were apparently some people who had won an occasion to meet you backstage, and others with Kiko fanclub cards. But they were not allowed backstage. That was very aggravating for them as they had apparently paid good money for that. What’s up with that? What was the reason to close them out? Were they frauds, or victims of a scam? I’m bothered by this and would really like to know.
Rubens Rodrigues: The Phantom of the Opera is not played regularly because Toni does not accompany Tarja on the tour. Only when there are guests like the Mexican singer from Psicofonía or Edu Falaschi she plays it. (I thought the Mexican singer sounded excellent, Edu’s voice does not seem to fit.)
There are many possibilities for bonus tracks to easily fill an EP with Enough, live versions of songs, acoustic versions, instrumental versions, extended versions (please no more remixes!), unused songs and leftovers(hasn’t Thomas Youngblood from Kamelot sent Tarja a song?), with orchestra or simply with keyboards, The Seer, The Phantom of the Opera in Spanish, Portuguese, German or Finnish.

Fortaleza will never forget that night, it was really emotional and we there couldn´t believe how tarja was great, happy, energic….the show was simply amazing, and fulfilled one of my big dreams, to see Tarja live. I had to travel 9 hours by car just to see her, but it was worth every minute. Thank you Tarja. hope you´ll come back over Northeast Brazil, maybe to Recife…a bit closer to me haha

Great to hear that you’re happy! I could see that in your face in São Paulo’s concert (23-08). And you know what? It was the best show I’ve ever gone! I have no words to describe it, ’cause everything was perfect: you, the band, the setlist…
The concert:
- Boy and the Ghost: The sensation of seeing, the white curtain falling, is incredible! And what to say about: “Oi São Paulo! É incrível estar aqui de novo! Bem vindos à minha Tempestade de Inverno!!!”? (Where have you learned portuguese, so well? I really appreciate it =D)
- Sing for me (My fav song – together with “The Seer”): Seeing this one live was a dream coming true! Mostly this part: “I need you to sing, sing for me my love…”. P.e.r.f.e.c.t!
- I walk alone: When you were singing this song, it felt like you were setting yourself free. It was really good! And I have to mention the microphone event, you know, it was funny, ’cause your reaction was really unexpected, at least for me…LoL
- The Phantom of the Opera: I thought you were not going to sing this one. I’m glad I was wrong! During all the song I was like: =O
- Enough: What a great heavy song, I simply loved it! (Can’t wait to listen to your new album \o/)
- Oasis (someday I’ll be able to sing it): The most beautiful moment of the night! When you started to present the song and said: “…veeeeeery, very (I forgot the rest =P)”, your voice in this part made me cry. And, what about the song? You, singing and playing was gourgeous! Sorry for singin’ “Happy Birthday” to you twice (on Friday and on Saturday), but we couldn’t resist =P
(I could have written about all the other songs too, but this text is already long enough =P)
When the concert ended and you were up to leave the stage, just to greet us, I was like: “No, she’s not doing that…is she for real?”. It was awesome!
I’m really proud of you, thanks once again!
Meeting you in the signing session @ Galeria do Rock (22/08) was really cool! But, I was so nervous, that all I could speak was: “hi” and “thanks” (I have already beat my head against the wall because of it…I’m ok now…LoL). You’re such an adorable person, I love you!
Hope you keep the “promise” and come back really, really, really soon. Maybe in May?

I just watched the videos of the Concert of Belo Horizonte- wow, wow, wow!!! You and the crowd seemed to have melted together in some moments! If this happens an artist is very gifted, I think!!
You seemed VERY happy an I am glad for you!
I just thought about what I was doing while you were blogging in here- I was rehearsing into a little wood early in the morning after a wonderful bachelor-farewell-party with camp fire and so on. (I am going to sing on the wedding in church). It was a very nice expirience to sing into nature so very early when the day was still young. I am so happy that I was awake when you blogged
(Even that you’re thousands of kilometres away and having a completely different time by then)
I think the people love you so much for you do not only have such an uncomparable beautiful voice and a strong aura and presence on stage- you are also very down to earth! This mixture makes you so likable that everyone wants to go and chat with you at a cup of coffeee or so. You stayed just normal and realistic and that’s one thing that is very special for singers, I assume. For you are so nice and keep such warm, kind and close contact to us fans- even if it might be sometimes exhausting- for this we are so grateful to you!

I was at your concert last night in Rio de Janeiro. I have no words to describe the sensation of beeing at your concert again (last time was on 2002, also in Rio). Say it was perfect is not enough!

Maria Ilmoniemi is not Brazilian, she’s Finnish like Tarja! I’ve talked to her, she is very nice, and she was trained at Sibelius Academy, too. I showed her a video where she was a teenager and played Hungarian Dances on the piano together with her twin sister. She was really surprised that that video was on YouTube, she didn’t even know the recording exists. LOL! Her sister is a Sibelius-trained pianist, too. Maria said her sister is so much better than her. She’s so modest! Haha!
It’s great that Tarja has a fellow Finnish woman to accompany her around the world, a woman who plays piano and sings just like her.

In 2004 when you came here with the Nightwish, I really don’t know a lot about the band and the music, my little sister, Gabi, ask me to go with her, because she hadn’t the age to go to your show alone, without a responsible major of age. So I gone and I love the show, since this date I became your fan. Your voice is incredible, has a power and is soft when you want. Your voice is a gift of the God.
I’m very happy to know that you are enjoying your shows in Brazil. I was in your show in Belo Horizonte, I could see how you was happy here doing the show, in many pictures you are smiling. It´s great to know you´ve enjoyed the tour in Brazil and Latin America! Your pictures are lovely, speacially the one with Maria on the beach. You look like you were having a wonderful time!!!
We are waiting for you to come next year, it´s gonna feel like ages. The concert in Porto Alegre was simply amazing, a wonderful “storm”! It´s impossible to listen to cd and not feel a kind of trance after seeing you live. The songs bring me lots of good memories from those two days you were in Porto Alegre. In fact, thank you so much for you time to take pictures and even when you couldn´t stop and talk to the fans, thank you for your smile, it meant a lot to me!
The whole band was great, very nice and also kind enough to stop and take pictures and give autographs, they sure rock!

POR DIOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOS!!!!!!!!! What a concert, for God’s sake!!!!! What an end for your tour… I came back home exhausted and I woke up with a massive pain in my neck from the headbanging, and my arms were sore from shaking them in Obras last night… this concert was more than I ever expected it to be. Your performance was impecable!!! Your presence here was the best birthday gift I could’ve had, specially this year, since I had a pretty crappy birthday… a friend of mine died on that day. My friends decided to buy me a ticket for your show as a birthday gift, a way to sort of try to make it up for the grief I had to go through on that day…
I hope you keep your promise to come back very soon!! We miss you, already!!!
Again, congratulations for the best show ever, and I hope you now get a very well deserved rest… you earned it!!

What a way to end the latin american tour! Saturday’s night concert was amazing, I enjoyed every inch of it. I sang from the very begining till the end.
Thank you for a beautiful night, for the music, for your voice, for the strength in the stage.
And as a promise to myself (and you, probably), I know that in a future we’ll sing together. I don’t know how and when… but I know deep in my heart that we will. I’m a mezzosopran, so, what do you think about Lakme’s duet?

I have the dream to compose my own music. I already know the instruments I would take. The leading instrument must be a cello. I will have a lot of solo-parts. Then there will be a clarinette and maybe a piccolo-flute and also a classical bass. Additional I will have an acoustic guitar. The sound should be a mixture of jiddish music, operatic sound, metal/rock and chansons. Well, I already have some fragments into my mind how it should sound. i want to have a very flexible voice to sing the vocal parts. Maybe a man (bariton/rock) and a woman (soprano- of course).
So- if my dream should come true in some years, which means that I dare to let hear other people my music in my mind, if I find musicians to play my songs, if I can afford a computer programme where I can compose easier and if I have enough money to perform these songs- and if I should be satisfied with the result- then I would ask you to be my guest. Then I would dare to ask you to sing a song which I would have written for your voice. And you will have the chance to change what you want in the song- for it would be your song.
That would be the gift I would wish to give you. But up to now it is only into my mind. Let’s see what future brings. Maybe you’ll hear from me in a couple of years…

I forgot to announce an instrument: There must also be some bongos into the sound. And maybe in some parts a digeredoo. But I am not sure about drums… In a few songs I might take an electronic guitar, maybe there will also be drums then.

No puedo creerlo… Pasaron 8 años desde que te escuche por primera vez, cuando me regalaron un cassette con el nombre ”Wishmaster” garabateado en marcador para que lo escuchara en una especie de walkman que me regalaron para el dia del niño xD. Puedo decir que en esos 8 años escuchandote cantar, jamas me decepcionaste, al contrario creo que me diste esa fuerza para seguir luchandola dia a dia…..
Por otro lado, fantastico el show en el Obras, la primera vez que puedo ir a un reci tuyo (mi mama no me llevaba a los de NW porque no era lugar para una chica de 10 años),me emocione hasta los huesos.
