Hey everybody!
I’m Alex and I’m taking care of the guitar parts on Tarja`s album.
It’s great being here with everybody, this place and the people here
are very nice!
Thanks to Claire, Patty and all the staff for creating a very nice
atmosphere here for us.
At the moment Doug Wimbish and I do fine-tuning of the parts together
and at the same time he is recording the bass for the tracks.
It’s very much fun to play with “the wimachine”, he is such an
outstanding musician and we play everyday ´til we “hit the shank”!
So it does not really matter that the famous Irish weather kicked in
with constant rain since three days… especially because the in-house
pub is always open for us with cold draft beer!
I’m heading back to my guitars now, cheers!

Just discovered the blog. Thank you for keeping us updated. I am quite curious to hear Tarja’s new album and wonders what kind of music she will sing. Hope your guitar will add a “heavy metal touch” in some of the songs as I am a fan of Nightwish. There aren’t many talented singers ( talking about non classical music) so Tarja is definitly someone I will continue to listen to.

I have asked several questions, and many of the replies suggest that I consider FIREFOX. I’m not sure what it is – probably a browser. Is it similar to Netscape and Internet Explorer? What are its good features and its bad features?….
