Hola Mexico City!
We arrived last night from US.
The tour in US and Canada went really well, without any problems and I truly enjoyed all my concerts there.
Even though I have been in Chicago before, it really felt like the first time. What a beautiful city! This time I had the chance to walk a bit around.
It was nice to meet many of my fans and to get a chance to know them personally a bit better. They seemed to enjoy the shows as much as we did with the band. I wish there will come another opportunity for me to return in the future. Perhaps with my new album.
I remember travelling from Chicago to San Francisco two days in our very comfortable night liner. 3500km! Luckily we had enough food, supplies, working Internet and functioning toilet…it was not too bad after all.
Anyway, it felt great to get a proper shower after all that travelling.
Los Angeles show was a great ending for the North American part of the tour. I got a chance to meet many friends after the show, which is always wonderful. Nice people that will hopefully be a part of WLB and some of them that have already worked with me in MWS.
In the meantime, before travelling to Mexico, I went to Hawaii to relax for couple of days. I just wanted to get under the surface again, so we scuba dived there on one day. We did a wreck dive where I saw a beautiful family of eagle rays swimming right upon us, when we were in 30m deep. There were also quite many turtles and lots of colourful fishes 
Hawaii was a nice break.
Now we are in Mexico DF. I know that many people have doubted whether my show is going to happen or not. I have to tell you that YES it will happen!!!!! I am so excited about it. Anyway, I don’t see the swine flu situation here at all that out of hands that the media has let us think. I guess it is just a big haloooooooo.
In fact, tomorrow I will be doing a signing session.
I am sure that everything will be just fine with the show and we’ll have a great time with my dear Mexican fans!
As I have heard, our concert will be the first one to happen after all the concerts in DF were cancelled and stopped for some time. So let’s show the city what we have

Oh yeah i can be one of the first to comment. Tarja im so sad i didn’t make it out to your shows but my mom has been fighting cancer and is far to sick for me to leave her right now. I love your music and i want you to know that if the situation was different i would have gone to your concert in a heartbeat. I am happy you had a good time here in the USA i hope you get the chance to comeback one day. As you said the swine flu is not as bad as they make it sound in the media but take care of yourself with all of that traveling. Best wishes to you cant wait for your new album im sure it will be amazing.

Hey Tarja,
it’s great that your shows turned out very well! I loved all the video’s and pics is saw; it’s great to see you back on a stage.
Hawaï seemed to have better weather than we had here in Belgium :p would love to go there once as well.
Further more i wish you luck on your south American tour, a kind wait to find out the setlist changes for the Mexican show!

Dear Tarja! Thank you, thank you, thank you for the Sleeping Sun!!! I’m glad that you have changed your decision and performed it! You’ve sung it fascinating! I was anxious every second for you while watching the wideo of the concert and wished you to manage with the song exellent – and you have done it! There were so beautiful notes in your voice, and it made me so happy! It is so good that you are practicing intensively, it brings exellent results! I liked very much your recent performing, even I am thousands kilometers away from you. But anyway, take care about your voice and health, I need to be sure that you’re always ok. And I will try hard to visit Global East Rock Festival in august and see you there, my dear, for the second time.

Dear Tarja, i just want to say (i dont know if you’ll ever read this) but i want to thank you from the bottom of my heart, i’ve been through a pretty rough time just recently and your music really was a huge support to me whenever i felt like i just couldn’t handle it anymore.

Ahora vivo en la ciudad de Saarbrücken, y hoy me entere de que tocaras aquí el 21 de Julio! emocionante!
soy guitarrista y me se tus canciones, son muy buenas, tambien las que cantabas con nightwish. Espero algun dia tocar este estilo de musica con alguna banda famosa!

tarja,antes que nada,impresionante el show del 27 en la trastienda,super emocionante,mil gracias por tu simpatia,tu amor por la musica y tu belleza!!no te acordaras pero el lunes 25 te cruce en la calle,hablamos un rato y te pedi que nos sacaramos una foto,obvio y gracias a dios dijiste que si y encima me invitaste al show del 27 y obvio fui!quede impresionado por tu voz y lo bien que suena la banda,fueron para mi dos horas de pura emocion,nada mas lindo que sentir algo asi!mil gracias por la magia!besos!!!

paty,hola otra vez,la verdad es que no tengo facebook,podriamos ser amigos en el blog de tarja,eso esta bueno!!en realidad no tenia una camara,tenia el celular que saca unas fotos no de las mejores,pero salio bien,gracias al chico que estaba con ella que se copo y nos saco la foto,(todavia no lo puedo creer)no sali de lo mas lindo pero bueh,es lo que hay!jaja!te cuento que el 27 en la trastienda fue de lo mejor que vi y senti en mi vida,el sonido fue impecable,la banda suena terriblemente bien!!y se nota que entre ellos se llevan muy bien,tarja de lo mas simpatica y profecional que vi,creo que tuvo 5 cambio de vestuario,que velocidad tarja!!en dos minutos ya tenia otro vestido puesto y sin agitarse,eso es estar en forma!! hasta canto un tema de seru giran,una banda argentina de los años 80,charly garcia tocaba ahi,no se si lo conoces,a mi mucho no me gusta la banda pero es de respetar,y como lloraba la gente!!a mi lado habia un pibe de unos 18 años,se le caian las lagrimas y temblaba como loco,yo pense que se iba a poner histerico pero no,lo calme un poco(bueno flaco,no te pongas asi,disfruta el show)si,si me dijo y se calmo!!me asuste un poco,jaja!! no tengo facebook poque no tengo ni idea de como se usa aunque voy a tratar de aprender y me armo uno!,tengo 33 años,un poco mas grande que tarja,toco la guitarra hace mucho,aunque no soy de los mejores y no vivo de la musica es lo que mas amo!!gracias a vos por tu post y que viva la musica!!besos paty!!

Me parece muy cool que toques la guitarra! de verdad me imagino que debe haber estado buenísimo el show en la trastienda (he visto algunos videos en youtube). Qué lata que no tengas facebook como para seguir en contacto, tal vez podríamos a través de e-mails, pero es complicado publicar el mail xD. Pero al menos tenemos el blog, aunque no sé cuánto funcione, ya que hay muuuchos comentarios, entonces será complejo, pero en fin, la vida dirá
