Hola!
Tomorrow I will travel back to Finland, but I’ll be back in two days. I need to leave the guys alone in the studio! I guess they will miss me…;) I will anyway miss them.
I have to tell you that this place is quite spooky sometimes. We have been discussing that the atmosphere around here is a bit strange, especially at night.
Every place has its history and we are not quite sure what has been going on here in the past. Daily some locals are telling more and more interesting ghost stories and I am really starting to freak out.
Another weird coincidence happening again, because many of my songs in the album have a sort of creepy feeling.
Maybe I awoke some spirits with my music…hopefully only good ones.
I was working with Torsten today upstairs, in his magical, dark studio searching some soft textures and surprising soundscapes for Oasis.
When I came back down to the control room, Alex was playing an AMAZING guitar riff!
I am so happy that the songs are starting to live on their own. With these musicians music gets to a different level. It is just wonderful to experience that.
The producer Daniel is sitting beside me and I think he is in another planet at the moment.
This process must have been pretty hard for him. He just “yelled” for Doug and Alex: “You guys are doing a great job, if you could just play the right chords! “Another comment came soon after: “I like what you are trying to do! Delete that take, Dan”
I think he is loosing it!!!! 
Seriously speaking, Daniel has been very creative during this process and he really understands what I want to achieve with this album.
I´ll get back to you soon.

Sounds like you’ve been having fun.
My sister is now nearly as excited about the album as I am now. We both know that it will be great and will most likely end up with a copy of it each lol.

Hello Tarja,
Your updatein us with new info is great. try not to let such stories from the local towns folk bother too much. I think they do that to anyone just to get a scare lol. But whats more importent is your havein fun and when this is all done you wont have to worry so much about bein spooked by the locals lol. Also it could be that the musical atmospher that your music has could be exiding you so much that it would fit with those kinds of stories so that it makes the stores sound more kreepyer lol. Just dont let it get to you were it will drive you crazy lol. Keep up the good work your album process and letin us know how it goes and i hope nothin comes to bother you like that in any fashion

Now, from what you have told us it looks like my first impression was correct… 
But don’t worry, the female hero in her books always survives!! 
When I first saw the picture of you walking in front of the building I immediately thought:”Wow, this looks like a house from Minette Walters’ crime stories!” And then I thought: “Oh no!!!! Take care Tarja!!”
Seriously, I whish you and your collegues all the best for the album and I am really curious to find out what you have thought of and how it sounds!

Bueno…no me sorprende que haya ciertos “duendes” pululando en tus canciones…dicen qe hay una leyenda tradicional de tu tierra que dice que ay un espiritu alegre que solo se manifiesta en las fiestas…Es amante del vino, de la danza y de las risas…Quiza por ello, el folk de tu tierra es realmente vivaz y alegre…
Siendo de donde eres…esas criaturas festivas te acompañan alla donde vayas…cosa que es una bendicion…ya hemos llorado en el pasado…Ahora deja que esos “fantasmitas” burlones, posean tu musica y nos hagan bailar a todos!!!.

I am so happy to read that we can expect a new album from you soon. I’m already missing your voice. What you write really sounds like hard work but still fun. I’m happy to know your song is growing so much and starting to somehow live a life of its own… I’m also in the process of writing two Christmas songs (if I told you the story of one of them you probably wouldn’t believe it, but anyways, it’s too long to tell it here) and yes, I’m also experiencing that wonderful feeling, seeing how the songs grow and feel differently each day… the creative process, in any form of art, is always something wonderful and nurturing for the soul… I think, being able to create art is truly a blessing.
I hope everything keeps rolling as smoothly as it is these days, and that the album is ready soon, and that it becomes everything you’ve always dreamed of and more! You know, if you could tease us a little with some audio snippets I think that’d be awesome! Just giving us a little taste of what’s coming from you… we’d be forever thankful and I think it would also be an indicator for you, as to what our reaction could be once the album is done and out in the record stores… but it’s just a suggestion from someone who’s eager to listen to those landscapes you’ve been talking about! I’m intrigued!
Well, don’t mean to bore you anymore with my blabbering… I hope you enjoy your trip back to your homeland, and that you get back to us soon!

P.S.: If I may, I’d like to suggest you to listen to an artist that’s truly been blowing my brain cells away for the past five or six years, maybe you’ve already heard about her as she seems to be very popular in Europe… maybe the name ‘Lara Fabian’ might ring a bell for ya… if not, I strongly suggest you check her website (http://www.lara-fabian.fr) and listen to some of her music, I believe you’ll be as blown away as I was listening to her for the first time. And who knows, maybe one day you both could end up singing together someday

Acá en mi ciudad, se realiza la “Fiesta Nacional del Inmigrante” en septiembre de cada año…..
Argentina es un país con una gran riqueza cultural gracias a los inmigrantes de todo el mundo que llegaron hace muchos años, y que aún hoy siguen llegando….
La fiesta se realiza en un parque grande, donde se construyeron casas típicas, una por cada país….
En esta zona del país (Misiones), llegaron muchos inmigrantes europeos de las zonas de Escandinavia, Alemania, Rusia y Polonia….
Existe una casa típica escandinava; no se realizó una por cada país nórdico
Pero de todas maneras, es algo hermoso; cada casa tiene su ballet, su música, su comida…….todas sus costumbres……
Y nada…..era solo para comentar……
Por supuesto que si algún día querés venir, serás muy bienvenida!
Cuidáte mucho eh! no vayas a salir sola…..tal vez aparezcan unos pequeños hobbits….no les tengas miedo, no son malos…..
pero por las dudas, cruzá a la otra vereda o date vuelta y empezá a caminar ligerito…XD

hola soy Ariel de buenos aires, nos conocimos una vez en una firma de autografos el año pasado cuando viniste a presentar “you would have loved this” y ese fue el dia mas feliz de mi vida hasta que hace unos meses te volvi a encontrar en la feria del libro y ese dia fue mucho mas especial porque me entere de que ibas a estar ahi solo dos horas antes del evento (llegar desde mi casa hasta alli me toma cerca de una hora) falte a la facultad y sali corriendo a encontrarte. por suerte mi muy mejor amiga me consiguio un numero y pude entrar y abrazarte y decirte lo mucho que te amo. tengo las fotos de ese dia y las guardo como un sagrado tesoro.
