I Walk Alone single
Hello dear fans,
This Friday 26th of October the single “I Walk Alone” will be released in Germany! Some territories will follow the week after.
I am very excited to discover how this journey will kick off!
I am still doing interviews, today for Finland, Mexico and Canada.
Good news for my Brazilian friends: I will have the chance to see you next week (30 or 31st October) in Sao Paulo!!
And is also confirmed that I will visit Vienna on November 5th and Zurich on November 6th for promotion. Looking forward to see as many people as possible 
Still few more countries to visit, but not confirmed yet.
Doug, Maria, Alex, Toni, Mike, Markus and Max are now working with the songs for the tour.
I am also daily working in Buenos Aires, learning the new lyrics and refreshing the old ones.
My vocal coach Marta is helping me to get the technical part adjusted too!
Soon we will start rehearsing together with the band.
Seems that is still too far away, but on the other hand, the first show in Berlin will happen in only 1 month!!! I am getting nervous…
The last show to be added to our schedule is now confirmed: Athens, Greece! I am very happy to return there. I have very nice memories already, but now I’ll make the time to get to know the city better.

Dear Tarja,
yesterday it was the first time that I have had a look on the “END OF AN ERA” DVD. It was wonderful and also very sad… But I think, the old era has gone – the new era will come… with you!
I have the chance to meet in person (I’m registrated for the VIP tickets) but unfortunately I can’t. (300 Euros without flight or accomodation for Amsterdam is really too much). But I’ll see you at the concert (32 euros are not that much)

I saw that U learning the new lyrics and refreshing the old ones.
For us who cant see U, what OLD songs are U going to sing.
A couple of songs that I want U to sing is Walking in the air leaving U for me and Sleeping Sun…I think that SS is YOUR song, It says Tarja all over the song.

I have all the old Nightwish CDs and DVDs (EXCEPT the latest – because it has no Tarja). Your voice made those songs special, I listen to them every day. This coming album sounds really good
– so glad you are still going strong!

Tarja, you the best in the world the solo singer! Nobody doubts it on a blog, and not only. When I listen to your songs of different years, I involuntarily note, that you sing all better and better. I see that you became the great actress, and I hear your vocal progress. You are a maestro! I dare to judge it because I studied in music within 8 years, more than 15 years I visit concerts of vocal academic music (choral and solo singing).
Singers of many heavy groups try to imitate you. Of them many fans have some, but they cannot sing alive as you. They do not have your Talent and experience.
You still are nervous on the threshold of your concert tour? Then you can imagine that your worst fears concerning a concert have come true. As though it has already happened. Go through it, reconcile to it in itself, and to you can become easier.
Oh! What it with me? I again try to advise to you? I have again forgotten that you for a long time «the big girl». I will be corrected.

I have been touring around central and south america for 4 months now, and tonight I have a bus journey to Buenos Aires…and although I have nrealy no money left…I would use it just come see you in concert again. the last I saw you was in London with Nightwish, just before the split and I thought you were amazing…as did my parents who I dragged along too. I will try my best to get to your concert in London in december…but its a shame you arent performing in BA before as it would be a perfect way to end my trip.

I’d like to share my feelings about you, your career and voice with you. I started listening to Nightwish just because of you. My favorite songs where(and still are) at the beginning The Phantom of the Opera, Over the Hills and Far Away, SACRAMENT OF WILDERNESS, NEMO, Elvenpath,The Riddler, Dark chest of Wonders, in these songs you showed your whole potential. After you got kicked out from the band, I just want to see them performing in Chile like you are going to do it later on, but I don’t miss you there (NW), just because of this: My Winter Storm, I’m expecting your concert, You can’t be worse of what you where in the Wishmaster tour as an example, thats my parameter, your GOLDEN PERIOD. I’ve always loved your voice, Halopainen did great composing those songs for your gorgeous registry, just because of him I’m writing this, just because of him I love you, but you gotta take care of your career, really… You are now going on a Solo Career, Its all upon you, watch out of what you are composing, about who your musicians are, and never forget this, to create music you only have listen to your heart and your fans, the ones that made you what you currently are. I hope that you have learned something from Toumas and Nightwish as band, actually he sucks with the keyboards but, he is such a composing master, he puts his soul in, in every lyric he wrote, you gotta do the same, you are able to do it, its all upon to you now my Angel of Music.
I can’t really wait to hear the Music Goddess performing in Chile.

I think that you, Tarja, one day, should write some lyrics just with your feelings, with the voice of your heart….I think that your voice, you and Nightwish was the perfect combination, but, unfortunately this combination ended and you follow your own way! and I wish you the best! I started listening to Nightwish because of this amazing combination!the composing of Tuomas and your voice, your wonderful voice dear! I was really fascinated when I met the band. I had never seen anything so perfect and since then I only hear Nightwish and your songs, and of course, now I hear MWS! =)

I have listened 18 samples from 18 songs “MWS” … Tarja how you could SO to sing?! Results of your works have surpassed all my expectations! You and your music are truly divine! Founders of your CD are worthy the highest praise, but you especially! Anybody in the world could not SO it to perform! Your music has touched almost all “strings” of my soul. I will be happy, holding in the hands your disk. Those who never you saw can fall in love with you after its listening.
Tarja, you have invested all your soul in creation “MWS”. But reaction of admirers to your disk and to your concerts still has not followed. You because of it are nervous? In my opinion, their emotional response will be enthusiastic. I cannot believe, that you do not feel, what you have made a masterpiece. Tarja, you in the excellent form! I wish you and your command of successes in creation of concert show.

I would really like to meet you one day. And I always wanted to see you perform when you were with nightwish, but I never got the chance. I was really sad when they fired you, but look at you now!!! And I still want to meet you anyhow! And someday I will! maybe in Amsterdam soon???

so i cant tell her how much her voice as helped me
im a 15 year old male and when i was younger i was very depressed allot of my time and was put on suicide watch at all my schools
and one day i got so bad i attempted suicde and nearly succeded
on that same day my brother andrew showed me a song called “over the hills and far away” by a group called Nightwish and while i was listening to it
it made me feel the most wonderous feeling
i actualy smiled
and i fell in love with tarjas voice because since that day on
i have fianly made friends
made a small career in acting singing and dancing
all because of that one woman
and i dont think i could thank her enough
even now when i here your voice it takes me back
and i can actualy smile again

Maybe it is not completely ethical to comment this here but… Anette is a very good singer, gave a wonderful show along the others NW members… BUT Ever Dream sung by you is a unique experience, no other singer will ever do it like you Tarja, I will miss it forever, hope you can sing it in Mexico, because sung by you it moves me to tears!! too beautiful!!! Anyway, I am sure both you and old Nighwish (no T anymore in the band) will do just fine and entertain us for many more years.

Best of wishes on your fresh start tarjia,i hope that i’be able to see you in athens.i would also like to invite you to my hometown of preveza(greece),but i don;t know wether you could be able to come.And just for the record,tarjia i’ve heard the new nightwish songs (at least some of them) but thier not like the ones the band produced with you,the new singer is ok but what realy made the band stand out was your soprano featured voice,she’s not that good.i hope that you’ll try to keep some of the metal feeling of the nightwish music although in your personal work you were more sentimental and operatic(now that’s not necessary bad,even my mother likes your musik although she doesn’t understand both suomi or english).Anyway the new nightwish album according to my estimations will most likely flank,but that’s just me saying that,bad old admi!so that’s all for now,greetings from the beautifull small town of preveza.

6 days left!!! Yesterday I could not sleep very well, because I maybe have 1 VIP Package!!!! maybe!! my boyfriend can’t come, because of his work. He has a new job since a few months and he has’nt build up so many day offs yet. that’s why I’m buying one ticket. maybe my boyfriend can get a Presscard, because we have two websites. http://www.twilightsun.nl is about Leaves’ Eyes, and a new one metalpictz, which is not ready yet, will be about pictures of metalbands performing live. if he can get a press card we will make a Tarja Turunen Special on our website!!!!! So I’m hoping that he can get one!!!

Hello my dearest Tarja,
I am very happy to tell you that I am the owner of a VIP PACKAGE!!! so I can finally meet you!!! OH MY GOD I am so excited! I can jump and scream all thay!!! Do you know how happy I am!?!?!?!?!?!?!? Now my boyfriend and I are trying so hard to get only one Presscard to make pictures of you in the Melkweg! for our new website!!! I know that I can make as much pictures as I want during the dinner, when and where I want, but I don’t want to be a Picture Crazy All Over You Fan, I’m not like that, I’m actually a quiet and shy person! I’ll bring a camera with me for a few pictures.

Allow to congratulate you on release of your «Winter storm»! Somebody can congratulate me also. I, at last, have waited release of an album, not less significant for me, than «Innuendo» in 1991. Thank you very much for it!!!
In my opinion, yours «Winter storm» – the female Music having the unique style. I did not hear someone singing in such style, so easily, artistically, beautifully and powerfully. In too time, Tarja, I have met on your CD a several potential hits, capable to compete on popularity with «My heart will go on». These are songs: «Sing for me», «The reign», and sure, «IWA». To me very much like except listed songs: «Oasis» and heavier «Die alive» and «Our great divide». «Oasis» all gets to me into soul more deeply!
Tarja, your Music bears in itself huge energy. You so talented Singer, that absence of an orchestra and chorus at your concerts will not weaken impression. Probably, it will give to your performance chamber atmosphere. Or the orchestra and chorus will go in tour?
Tarja, you know, what Alice Cooper will sing in Moscow before you as «warming up»? He will act at 19:00 in club «B1 maximum» (you’re going out at 20:00). He will arrive in advance for such responsible business (one week prior to you). Only I do not know, whether he will sing «Poison»?

is there really a need to be slateing Nightwish
at the end of the day yes your oppinions matter
but Tarja dosent slate hem so why should you
you lvoe Nightwish when Tarja was there

Hello Tarja and Tarja fans!
I had huge expactations of Tarja´s solo album. After hearing it I was… I have to say, a little bit disappointed. I do like her voice a lot but those songs… no, I don´t like them. This is my opinion. But obviously there are many people that disagree with me according to that fact Tarja´s album has went gold very fast in Finland.
I think I´ll have to just listen to Tarja´s voice on old Nightwish cds. Although I don´t like your new album and I won´t buy it, I hope the very best for you Tarja and enjoy your amazing career! Take care!
