Grüsse aus LA!
Die Sonne scheint und man kann die Brise vom Ozean hier in Santa Monica fühlen. Ich leide noch ein wenig am Jetlag, denn ich bin erst gestern Abend in LA angekommen. Ich habe mich aber schon so darauf gefreut, heute ins Studio zu gehen, dass ich keine Zeit hatte, müde zu sein.
Es ist eine große Ehre die Möglichkeit zu haben, in den Remote Control Studios zu arbeiten, besser bekannt als die Welt des Hans Zimmer, da dies seine privaten Studios sind.
Endlich habe ich es bis hierher geschafft! ☺
Ich habe euch versprochen, mehr über Jim zu erzählen und nun ist die Zeit dafür gekommen. Zuerst muss ich euch sagen, dass er ein sehr netter Mensch ist. Es war sehr angenehm, mit ihm zu arbeiten. Er möchte gerne Jim genannt werden, auch wenn sein Name eigentlich James Dooley ist.
1999 hat er seine Kollaboration mit Hans Zimmer als Cheftechniker für Gladiator begonnen und war auch als Komponist und Arrangeur für Pirates of the Caribbean, King Arthur, Hannibal, Black Hawk Down, Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron, The Ring und Tears of the Sun tätig, um nur einige der über 60 Filme und TV Soundtracks zu erwähnen, an denen er beteiligt war.
Für MWS hat er Orchester- und Chorarrangements für einen Großteil der Songs aufgenommen.
Als ich sein erstes Arrangement bekam, habe ich geweint als ich es gehört hatte. Es war viel besser als ich erwartet hatte. Ich hatte wirklich den Eindruck, einen Soundtrack zu hören! Das war auch in erster Linie der Grund, weswegen ich mit diesen Leuten zusammen arbeiten wollte 
Es brauchte nur etwas Zeit, um all meine Ideen zu sammeln. Nun läuft alles gut und ich kann es nicht mehr erwarten, das Album fertig zu bekommen.
In den kommenden Tagen werde ich allen Arrangements den letzten Schliff geben, bevor die Orchester- und Chorpassagen aufgenommen werden.
