Mel Wesson & und der Beginn des Mischens

Die Zeit vergeht schnell hier in LA.
Wir arbeiten jeden Tag sehr hart, um die besten Ergebnisse zu bekommen. Es hört sich schon sehr gut an!
Ich möchte euch etwas mehr über den Mann erzählen, der all die verrückten und unheimlichen Sounds auf meinem Album erschaffen hat.
Sein Name ist Mel Wesson.
Während seiner Karriere hat er u.a. mit Hans Zimmer, James Newton Howard und Harry Gregson-Williams zusammen gearbeitet.
Im Jahr 2000 war er auch an Mission Impossible 2 beteiligt.
In den letzten sieben Jahren hat Mel dann an vielen Filmen als Ambient Music Designer gearbeitet. Er gab sich selbst diese Bezeichnung, um seine Arbeit für den Hannibal Soundtrack zu beschreiben.
Er nahm auch an vielen anderen Projekten teil, darunter Black Hawk Down, Batman Begins und Freedomland.
Mel ist ein Experte für elektronische Musik und erschafft eine besondere Stimmung und Atmosphäre, wo sie benötigt wird.
In MWS hat er an vielen Songs mitgearbeitet und ich kann seine Arbeit nicht mit Worten beschreiben…ihr müsst abwarten und es dann selbst beurteilen ☺
Ich bin sicher, ihr werdet überrascht sein.
Leider habe ich ihn noch nicht getroffen ☹ , da er in seinem Studio in England beschäftigt war, während wir uns in Ibiza aufhielten.
Ich hoffe, das wird sich bald ändern.

Seit unserer Ankunft in den Remote Controll Studios haben wir mit Slamm Andrews begonnen, MWS zu mischen.
Er ist ebenfalls ein Mitarbeiter von Hans Zimmer. Um euch nicht mit einer langen Liste von Filmen zu langweilen, an denen er bereits mitgewirkt hat, möchte ich nur erwähnen, dass er für das Mixen von The Simpsons Movie verantwortlich ist, der jetzt in den Kinos läuft.
Slamm verstand die Idee hinter diesem neuen Konzept sofort, das wir mit „My Winter Storm“ verfolgen. Er ist das letzte Glied in einer langen Liste von Künstlern, die viel Kreativität und großes Talent besitzen und die Teile meines Albums zusammenfügen.
„My Winter Storm“ ist eine Kombination von (Hard 
) Rock – Elementen, klassischem Gesang und Filmmusik mit eingängigen Melodien.
Ich würde euch gerne sofort all die Ergebnisse zeigen…aber ich muss meine Ungeduld noch ein wenig zügeln…
Wir haben nun schon fast drei Songs fertig und jetzt werden wir ein paar Tage pausieren, während ich nach Deutschland reise, um Photo – und Videoaufnahmen für das Album zu machen.
Daniel, ich, Slamm und Matt, unser assistierender Techniker.
Ich werde die Studios nun ein paar Tage verlassen, während Daniel Presley das Orchester und den Chor aufnehmen wird.
Ich möchte bald wieder zurückkehren, um meine Arbeit an „My Winter Storm“ fortzusetzen und meinen neuen Freund wieder zu treffen.
