MWS almost ready
Hello People!
MWS is nearly ready!!!!!
Just a few more days to have it completely done…
We have mixed 10 songs already and now finally, the record company, the band, the producer and the guest musicians can see where I was heading to 
I am very happy that the parts of that giant puzzle I once mentioned to you started to take the right positions. Thanks to everybody involved.
Tomorrow I will have the last vocal recording session at the Village and already next Tuesday I will be in Berlin starting the promotion for the album!
I am sure that in the following weeks I will be visiting not only Germany for promotion, but also France, England, Finland and Spain. The list of countries that will simultaneously release the album is growing by the hour, what makes me very happy 
Also there is a tour to come! The requests to perform shows after the album release are too many to attend them all before the end of this year! But I will soon inform you more about the tour in my web page.
I promised to give you more clues about the cover song. I haven’t read that anybody got it right yet…
It was originally released in 1989. Without any intention to offend and in a funny way sort to say, it is a sick song…and we made even a more sick version of it. The original was not a pop version neither is ours.

I thinks it’s POISON from ALICE COOPER btw, he’s in the list of people that worked at the village recorder, according to wikipedia (^^) it’s from 1989 and the lyrics aren’t as decent, and it has backing vocals, i just wonder how you’re going to sing it if it’s this one ^^

I agree with everyone that says the cover is “Alice Cooper – Poison”
I’ve done my research, and Alice Cooper did record in “The Village” studios, the song Poison can be seen as “sick”, but I suppose it depends on the individual. There have in fact been “pop” covers of this song – which are abysmal, by the way
I hope it is “Poison”, that song needs rescuing!

I am glad to hear that the album is almost finished. About the cover song I have thought that it could be “Knocking on Heaven’s Door”. I know the song is old but the heavy version by Gun’s n Roses was maybe released in 1989. Well I am not sure. It was a good rocking song anyway and a classic. I just try to propose !

I am super super exciting about the new album! I just listened to “I walk alone” and it sounds amazing, very haunting, mysterious. It is fantastic, you can truly “walk alone” in your solo career.
As for the cover song, oy, who knows, so many songs were released in 1989…hahah my birth year. It was a good year i do believe.
Can’t wait for your new album! Come to California, usa pleeaaase and do a show. That’d make my liiife.

Tarja, I do not have new thoughts on yours cover song (number 12). I mentioned in the comments on your posts from July, 7th (“vocal recordings”) and August, 19th (“photo session”), a song “Smells like teen spirit” (Nirvana). You meant it? You performance of this song the most recognized! In any case, I will play any game which you will offer.
If Moscow is not present in the list “MWS tour`07″, i will be not less happy when you will arrive in 2008. You know, that in Russia at you ten thousand admirers +1. but, that song released in 1993 and was recorded at “Ocean Way Recording” in LA….not in The Village…..
