The ambient sound designer
Today I received the first treatment from Mel for one of my songs.
This is exactly what I was waiting for!
It might be hard to explain you what Mel is doing, but in Hollywood movies this is called ambient sound design.
He was surprised when we contacted him and told him our idea.
He was impressed that somebody would like him to sound design a normal album instead of a movie, but he picked up the glove and did a marvellous job!
You will need to wait to hear his magic, but I am sure you will be gladly impressed.
Is exciting to see how the songs are getting little by little to the place where I first dreamed them to be.
Still we are in the middle of the process, but you can already feel the results 
I am very lucky to be able to work with people understanding my ideas and improving them with their art.
I am happy to see that you enjoyed the first lyrics I posted.

I am really happy that we all are allowed to follow the process of your recordings! It sounds really promising what will be waiting for us at the end of this year!
The place where the whole recordings take part is awesome. I can imagine that it is easy to get in a great mood and spend a lot of time to relax! finally we also have great weather in Germany, so we can have a little summer-feeling as well!

well, i m very happy to see how the production of the album goes…
this is really a good idea and very unique, even if its too easy but a very good idea to be in contact with fans and to inform them about the scenes behind (a little bit),
the lyrics seem to me typicall for you
very simple but with a touch of romance and love, that you always are givin not just only to the fans.
i m very happy that you decided to produce such an album, honestly non metal album but with a touch of you…i m sure i ll like it cuz my favourite music is and was ambient sound

These lyrics are beautiful too! I am loving this so much! And the fact that you’re using a sound designer for this album… the ideas you have for this work are simply so creative, with the recording procedures and now this… you really thought out of the box for the album, it seems like a risk (in a good way) and such a labor of love. I can’t help but believe that the final result will be worth all the effort and it will blow everyone away. God bless and as always, best of luck with everything.

Tarja, estoy en varios grupos de foros, y en uno de ellos estábamos comentando sobre las nuevas canciones de Nightwish……que sí…no nos aguantamos y las escuchamos, son unas partes de algunas canciones que andan dando vuelta por la gran telaraña mundial……

Lyrics were great! It would be so cool to hear how songs are getting ready from one peace to another (If you know what I mean).
When I heard about the song “I Walk Alone” the first thing what came into my mind was the song “Forever Yours” because there is a line wich goes: ” Whatever walks in my heart will walk alone”.

Does the use of sound designing mean that the album is going to be released as a surround sound album on SACD ?
It would be wonderful if it is, to hear your wonderful vocals and choral b.v’s in full surround would be mindblowing !

I have been blogging since last month, my blog was indexed already in google but during the test i conducted, i search for a certain keyword related on my blog but it only shows the blog title and it directs me to the homepage not on the actual post….
My wordpress blog with Arras theme shows different on different PC. Perfect on one PC, but wiered on the other?…
