The Single
Terve!
It has been a busy day today. I nearly nailed the Finnish lyrics for Oasis, even though I might still like to think about them again.
All drums and bass parts are recorded now.
Earl and Doug left us, what was very sad for everyone. But I am sure this won’t be the last time we will see each other.
Doug went for a needed 5 days break before getting into studio again. He will continue recording his own album.
Earl flew from Ireland directly into a rehearsal with the band Air to resume their tour.

Alex is recording guitars like crazy all day long. He is changing strings every few hours!!! No strings are strong enough… 
Torsten continues working on special sounds for several songs.
For tomorrow I have great plans: I’ll go to a concert of Peter Gabriel in Dublin 
I have been also looking forward to visit Dublin since I came to Ireland. I am very interested to get to know a bit more the Celtic culture.
And on Saturday I will start recording reference vocals. We will need to have the songs ready with some rough vocals in order to send them to the people in charge of the orchestral arrangements.
The first song I will record is the one chosen to be, as you might correctly guess, the first single.
I told you already some lines of the lyrics of this song in my first post. Now I would love to tell you also the name of the song:
“I Walk Alone”.

I hope you won’t get too wet in Marley Park, seeing as it hasn’t stopped raining here in Ireland in days. Enjoy the concert. Oh and you won’t see much Celtic culture in Dublin – its very multicultural. To see the real Ireland you need to get out of Dublin and travel to the west or south of the country.

For those who have absolutely no idea about who Peter Gabriel is: the guy was mostly famous for his videoclips back in the 80′s and the early 90′s, he was in a way a pioneer in the whole video FX thing… and he also wrote some kickass music
